34:41 MInhyuk is deceptively good at poping. I love watching him do those type of moves in choreos.

Welcome to the first installment of "Monsta X Traumatized By Car Accidents." It gets worse from here 😂
It's been fun reading everyone's theories! Points I haven't thought of before. Here are mine:
-- there's debate about whether Shine Forever is part of the MX lore, but I agree that it has the feeling and I've always thought it was. Like they escaped the war city, and the mental institutions with the blue flower, and went to live in the forest "Lord of the Flies/Lost Boys" style lol.
-- I don't know how Minhyuk ROLLED A CAR DOWN A CLIFF, and then popped out with some cuts and bruises. That blue juice must be something.
-- I think he left Kiki there and went to go get help, and Kiki lived but was blind, and they come up with the light ritual to restore it. No blue flower, which is why people don't think it's part of the lore. I thought the idea the person said in one of the comments about Kiki being dead, and the only ones who can see him were the ones who had been dead before is a really great idea since the other members seem unaware of him sometimes, but it also would seem weird to me that Min would just leave Kiki there and go back hime with his face all fucked up and no car, and the others are like, where is Kiki, and he's all, oh I have no idea, and they go, okay cool. Kiki NO WHERE TO BE FOUND AND IT IS FINE, until Honey and Hoho figure it out, fight fight, Nunu mad, punchies. Then we all good. Survival of the fittest! But oh wait, maybe we can use the lights like the blue juice and bring back zombie Kiki? See, here it all falls apart for me lol.
-- this is all a blue gummy bear-induced acid trip, and everyone is actually just camping. 😜
Anyway, Yay! Thanks for a new MX vid so soon!😘

Okay so again I'm gonna copy paste a really interesting theory I found for this one, it links to the previous mvs of the trilogy too so that's why I really like it
This is what we’re sure of: Minhyuk was driving with Kihyun in the car when they got into a car crash. Kihyun was obviously extremely injured.
Now here is the theory:
Kihyun dies in the crash, and he and the rest of MX are in distraught and in denial about it. I’m going to explain it more under this but to get to the point, they revive Kihyun with the cost of his eyesight.
In Beautiful, Kihyun was seen in a room of swords, and more specifically, eight of them (minus the one on the anvil), and then in Shine Forever, obviously he was covered with a blindfold.
There’s a Tarot card called The Eight of Swords and this is the description of it:
When you have put yourself in a bind from which there seems no escape, when you are lonely and might only have yourself to blame, when you adamantly refuse to take any responsibility for a bad situation... You are drawing the Eight of Swords in a tarot reading. This is a card that demands you to investigate your status as a victim and acknowledge your own role in any possible downfalls that may be occurring around you.
Description : A woman in a flowing robe is blindfolded and her torso bound. She is standing, not tied to anything and not tied up by anyone. Behind her off in the distance is a castle on a hill. At her feet are murky puddles of water in the mud. There are 8 swords around her buried with their points in the ground. The desolate landscape is under a dreary and cloudless gray sky.
Eight swords… and a blindfold.
So my original theory from the teaser was that Kihyun died in a car crash and he has the blindfold on because he’s denying the fact that he’s dead and won’t accept it? And from the full MV, it seems like that as well. The interpretation of how he feels about the situation is pretty vague though.
Also in the description of the card, it describes ‘puddles of water’ (Shownu was laying in water in the MV), and ‘a castle on the hill’ (possibly the random building Changkyun was in), and ‘desolate landscape/dreary and cloudless gray sky’ (where Wonho was running through desperately; Changkyun and Jooheon were seen there as well).
Next : the lights
Near the end of the MV, they were seen setting up lights around a field, in the shape of an eye (the iris to be more exact). This is where Kihyun ‘opened his eyes’ in the middle of it. My theory is this:
In All in mv you can see lights behind the blue flowers at some point, it looks like the lights they set up in Shine Forever… and if the field of lights are surrounded by these flowers (which revived Hyungwon) then possibly… they were reviving Kihyun. But it was at the cost of his eyesight, which is also why he’s blindfolded. The eyesight lost in exchange for his revival also makes sense because in the end of the MV, his eyes turn blue (like the flower and the light field). And the reason Hyungwon put the blindfold on him is because Hyungwon had been revived once before by the flower (in All In), so he relates to Kihyun and is his helper.
Also, the beginning of the MV where Shownu is driving the rest of them and Kihyun is already blindfolded, that’s after what happened in the end. That’s when he’s alive again but his eyesight is lost (you can kind of tell he is blind right after the scene where Hyungwon blindfolds him and Kihyun is stumbling and feeling around the stove.)
In the car they all seem down because even though Kihyun is alive, he lost his sight….

SHINE FOREVER!!! My song!! Such a underated title track I love it!
My theory is Kiki passed away in that car crash.
If you remember I told you that I think these boys are the reincarnated boys from the clan. So based on that I think the only ones that can see Kihyun are Minhyuk and Hyungwon. I think it is because Minhyuk and Hyungwon's past life and how they have crossed with Death more times than the others. Hyungwon is the one that puts on the blinds on Kihyun and I think it is a way to keep Kihyun's spirit from crossing over. "Seeing the Light" if you could say 😂.
It makes sense to me because if Kihyun was blind (and alive) how the heck did he find Minhyuk all by himself to confort him about the fight he had with everyone else. 😂 In that fighting scene Kihyun wasnt anywhere to be seen either so he came out of nowhere. Anyways, Kihyun is dead and cant crossover and all the boys are sad and want him back, so I think they want to bring him back to life. I think their trip is a quest to revive him and the hill with lights is like a ritual. Kihyun taking of his blind fold meaning he is has been brought back.

so, to my understanding, Minhyuk drove and crushed the car, pulled Kihyun out AND LEFT HIM! Wonho saw Minhyuk distressed and realized that Kihyun's blindness (or possible death) is on Minhyuk, Jooheon asks Wonho what he knows, goes to confront Minhyuk, Shownu breaks them, then hits Minhyuk. Minhyuk sad! Kihyun says it's fine, they hug it out. The whole group drags Kihyun into a secret place and do some magic-y stuff to heal (revive him)
- subtitles are a bit odd
- Kihyun has pretty eyelashes;
- take your time, we can wait; personally I am so taken with your vibe I will probably stay subscribed till the end of times lol
Ah also, this is a repackage album (greatest hits and two new songs) and that's probably why beautiful was the clan 2.5. this is where the clan truly ends and a new story begins, it's a bit more obvious and it ends.... bad... but that's a spoiler lol, you'll get it when you'll get there
thank you for your time 🍑

My favorite mv 💕 and I'm sure the lore is more easy than yours. I mean it's just a car accident and he got blind 😁maybe I'm wrong though. Idk

Hi you👋 CAN YOU REACT TO DOLLA FROM MY COUNTY 🇲🇾- 'UGLY'! 🚨 It’s a dark, creepy, psychological masterpiece that is totally different from regular girl group concepts. The vocals and the plot twist at the end will literally blow your mind! 🖤💥🔥 Hope you enjoy this song!

Honey has me totally captivated in this MV; he looks so incredible.
Anyway, I'll be patient and wait for more Monsta X content—that way, you can eventually figure out who your bias is.
I love that you're calling yourself a Monbebe now; I really love it.
Sending love, SAAUUU!!
