Monsta X literally has one of the finest rap lines in kpop

You are correct, there were 7 members originally, but now there are 6. Wonho is now a popular solo artists and the fandom still supports him.

BRO THE WAY I FUCKING CLICKED THE NOTIFICATION WAS SO HARD MY PHONE FELL ON THE FLOOR 😭

They have the best English songs in K-pop and are the first K-pop group to have not just 2, but 3 English albums.

From Monsta X I definitely recommend checking out: Jealousy, Hero, Dramarama, Beautiful liar & lost in the dream❤

If it can make you feel any better about you comparing them to SKZ, Monsta X was the intense performing 3rd gen group that inspired a lot of 4th and 5th gens to do the same such as Skz and Ateez. Their sensuality on stage and never holding back their intense energy won them performer of the year multiple times in a row at their peak. Having been a huge Monbebe (MX fan) before 4th gen debuts it was fascinating to see the influence they had on the idea of masculinity in kpop. Shownu and previous member Wonho were the buff dudes all other idols fawned over kind of giving permission to other idols in their minds that being buff was ok, especially since there was such a stressor on staying skinny and lean back then. You can’t imagine the amount of hate some idols got from gaining muscle at the time. Jungkook was called a pig or something of the like when he started working out. So long story short, yes they might remind you of Skz because they were the kings of no holds barred and peak performing confidence and intensity live.

Do a deep dive of Monsta X. You won’t regret it!! Soon to be a Monbebe! lol! My love started with BTS but Monsta X tops them in my book! Monbebe first, then Army. lol.

Finally, my favorite reactor reacting to my favorite group! 😭❤️ MONSTA X have such an incredible discography — their albums are the kind you can listen to from start to finish without skipping a single track.

Monsta X was the first ever kpop group I stanned, they hv honestly some of the best rappers and vocalists in kpop but so underrated their songs easily compete with the top best so glad u checked them out😭❤

MONSTA X = "MON STAR" (like "my star")
Tha fandom is called MONBEBE (like "my baby")

0:47 Yes it is!!! The MV is about all of them being different movie villains ❤

YESS, you finally reacted to MONSTA X!! 😭🖤 Since you’ve already done Love Killa, Shoot Out, Gambler and Fantasia, I wanted to give you a little MONSTA X info!

They debuted in 2015 under Starship Entertainment and their fandom is called MONBEBE 🖤 The members are Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney and I.M. Wonho was also a member before leaving in 2019, and he is now a successful solo artist!

The members have also all gone through their mandatory military service. Shownu, Minhyuk, Joohoney, Kihyun and Hyungwon have already completed theirs, while I.M enlisted in February 2026 and is currently serving, so he’s the last member left to finish. 🫡🖤

If you want to explore more of their music, PLEASE check out their killing Voice and then the songs Dramarama, Beautiful, Alligator, Jealousy, Follow, Fantasia, Trespass, KISS OR DEATH, MAGIC and N the Front!👀🔥

And definitely check out their variety content too because these men are SO chaotic 😂 Their stage presence makes them look intimidating, but their personalities are a completely different story.

Welcome to the MONBEBE rabbit hole 🫡🖤

Yass Monsta X is so good! Honestly just so many bangers. If you are interested you should definitely check out their Killing Voice at some point.

literally the first group i ever stanned over 10 years ago so i'm happy you finally checked them out. their main rapper joohoney produces a lot of their songs with hyungwon and i.m also producing sometimes. known to be beast idols and have a "grown man" image although they have spoken out about and worn stereotypically feminine items of clothing

regarding their impact:
- first kpop group to release an all english album, as in original english songs, not just english versions of their existing discography. as of now they've released three english albums
- one of the main groups that popularized noise music, which wasn't as big of a thing during their debut
- first kpop group to perform on iheartradio's jingle ball us tour and to have character cameos on an american cartoon show (we bare bears)

for songs i would recommend stuck and beautiful liar

Stray Kids are literally huge Monsta X fans.
Bang Chan was roommates with Monsta X's leader Shownu

Monsta X is a group that a lot of the 4th gen boygroups are modeled after

Monstax came before straykids, and straykids were influenced by Monstax, as were many 4th gen

They are definitely the best in everything: rap, vocals, dancing, songwriting, producing - MONSTA X!!! 💯💯💯💯💯🔝⬆️

I love Monsta X...one of my top 5 groups!!

MONSTA X - THEY ARE THE FIRST K-POP GROUP TO HAVE THREE ENGLISH ALBUMS!!! 💯💯💯💯💯🔝⬆️

Kairoooooooooooooooo I dreamed of this day so bad ❤❤ THANK YOU man! I hope we can see more of our multitalented boys
