A few small changes to make our tiny 8m² room a little easier to live in 🏠. Everything was going pretty well... until the rain came and our room started flooding 🌧️
Thanks for watching and spending a little time with me 🤍

Spending just $4 to clean up and make the room livable again shows how resourceful you can be. I hope things get easier for you and your family after all this hardship.

Hi how are you? I see your kitchen looks decent and I like the sausage just slowly take your time to decide and arrange them nicely. I agree buying new items is to make our life easier not look nicer so we must always think wisely before making decisions 🔥🔥🔥

I don't pop bubble wrap. I save it to send things in.
I always like seeing all the little doll faces peeking out of odd corners of your home.
I wish you guys could get some sandbags to go around your door. A little dam would keep some water out.
Yay for bricks under the fridge!
I wish I could find a bathroom rack like that.

You ladies might want to try and find some scrap metal or something and get your fridge up off the floor

You can make sandbags to block the floodwaters from entering your room. You need to half fill bags of sand and build a half circle at your front door. If you lay the bags like you're building a brick wall, it will provide more protection and hopefully keep you dry most of the time.

If i had to live like you. Expecting rain to come inside. I would elevate all furniture on bricks so nothing can turn into mold and mildew. You can layer the bricks as high as you need to .

What to do in the future (and it pays to post this on the wall behind the door so people don't have to "think"):
1. create a dam in front of the door to stop any more water from coming in. a flat bottom piece of clothing that goes from corner to corner is a start and you may need several. If you don't have a plastic bag to put it in, then wet is best, as it will give you a seal across the door. If you can keep the water from getting to the door that's even better. It's best if you can go out in the hall and stop the water from swirling into the doorway area, and get it to flow on by. If not, at least stop it from coming in.
2. temporarily cover the floor drains, because in a flood the water will come up through the floor drains as the sewer fills.
3. get everything off of the floor. Don't block the stairs. Just get it up.
4. fill containers with water while the water is still clean. If the water backs up into the sewage lines, none of the water will be clean and you won't be able to use the water from the sinks even if you boil it because it will contain feces.
5. Unplug all electronics that aren't necessary. In a flood situation, they become a hazard and on that wet floor you could be electrocuted.
All of this can be done rather quickly.
When you are done, change your clothes. You don't know what is in the water (pathogens) and it is better to limit your exposure until you do. If you have bleach, I recommend cleaning with it for a while. Use it diluted, of course

Great video as always!
But i would definitly recommend getting something to raise the fridge and perhaps maybe some kind of barrier for the door that you can put down if its starting to flood or if your afraid that its going to flood maybe something like a water proof sandbag i believe there are even bags you can fill up with water to stop flooding,
Besides that i love spicy food and especially spicy noodles tho im not sure if the spice here is less bad than over in vietnam😅

من المفترض رفع الاشياء عن الارض مثلا على دولاب من الحديد الذى شكله مثل السلم الطويل حتى السقف افضل من ان تغمرها المياه وتتلف وتكون فى زاوية الغرفه
