Another great vid and thanks! I see hubby was caught hatless again! Lol

This is our kinda resort as we prefer the smaller & quieter ones.

Love this review! Would love to see you review Sanctuary Cap Cana!

Was debating this resort until your Pros & Cons section. Thank you! I don't care to party 24/7 but I need a good entertainment selection!

@chriss499 1 year ago

We was there in August. Just kinda kept a eye on hurricane Erin, unfortunately couldn't change dates but it worked out ok. Loved the resort. Very clean. I think they clean the rooms twice a day. Unless you put the do not disturb on. The blind butcher was awesome. Buffet was good, I got my favorite meal, Roast beef and white rice with gravy. mmmmmm. Everything was good in my opinion. I would go back there again..

Great stuff Heather!!

Hi Heather, great video! Loved the drone shots. I really like that you also show the excursions outside the resort—it makes a big difference. I’m the same as you, I always do my research and I can tell you really put in the effort, it shows! I’m 40 and I enjoy the entertainment and nightlife more than the food (not the crazy party scene, just fun vibes). Funny you mentioned Secrets—I’ll be going to its sister family resort, Dreams, this December. Can’t wait to try it, and if I like it, I might check out Secrets next time for the adults-only experience. Keep up the great work, and don’t let the nasty comments get to you!

We just left there we stayed Aug 18-22 on Ziva side we loved it. My 12 year old loved the waterpark.. the food was great. Especially the seafood and meat festival that was at the buffet.. and the best bar on Property was The One-Eyed Cat, me and my wife went there every night. This property was worth every penny.

I love to watch travel videos and I've just found yours. I really liked the section of you sharing your opinion. I much more prefer a quiet resort so I appreciated your opinion that this resort was not for you. I think I would probably love it because I don't like a lot of people or a lot of noise. I'm boring. LOL

Just found your channel and love you guys! We had the best time at the Punta Cana Zoetry resort. You should try it! We love the boutique and private feel!

Avid resort visitor all my life. Food to me is higher than entertainment but that's me like you said. Everyone has an opinion. Service and Food are the biggest pieces of the the Resorts soft product to me. 1. Service 2. Food 3. In house Amenities. 4. Entertainment.......love this review, going to Cap Cana July 2026

@MissyFeola 2 weeks ago

Where do you recommend in DR that’s more lively for 30 something’s 😫I love the beach this is on. Have you stayed at secrets cap Cana ?

@bigrell368 1 year ago

I’ll be honest I’ve been to several resorts and this was probably top 3 that I’ve ever been to. It’s unfortunate about the beach because when we went it was the most beautiful beach we’ve ever seen. I will agree with the entertainment part but for the money that we paid I’ll definitely take the 5 star food, service, drinks and spa that we had here over the entertainment at this resort. Karaoke night was fun though.

Great review Heather, keep the pros & cons segment! Also, I'm looking at Punta Cana for my wife and I to celebrate my 43rd birthday so the dead nightlife and pool liveliness for adults makes this a 'no' for me. All the best

Were with you we travel during summer so we have to just cross our fingers
And we really don’t want quiet and boring we stay out late and have fun so we are saying this might not be our first choice

@Ktheodoss 1 year ago

I have been there and I can attest that the food and service is the best I have experienced in Punta Cana. But I did find it a bit boring. That, and also considering the price of this hotel, my wife and I have opted to go to another hotel the last two visits. We wouldn’t mind paying a couple of hundred dollars more per night, but almost double is way too much. We just felt that it was overpriced.
