Thanks for the ideas!
I recently found an adorable wooden turtle and the shell opens. You can keep something small in it. It has a summer feel and I put a seashell beside it. I sat it on my wide window sills beside a table lamp.

For anyone who hasn't been to Round Top (TX) before... there's A LOT too see there! October in central Texas is still pretty warm, so bring a hat or umbrella, sunscreen, and a cold drink. There are some food and drinks and portapotties available there. And bring CASH. Most vendors take venmo or credit cards, but wifi can be spotty.

So glad I found your channel! I’m a big fan of collecting vintage and antique decor at antique shops, thrift stores and estate sales. I too love to style my finds in small vignettes throughout my home. ❤

I've found those risers on ebay. The seller is very reasonably priced. I use them for my houseplants.

That duck and that swan 😍 And the wooden carved box and silver trinket box. Actually, just love everything

The tea pot looks like a coffee pot they used on the Union Pacific passenger train in the 40 and 50 🚂

I LOVE Delphine!! The green vase as well - it's the exact colour I want to reupholster my sofa in. I would have snatched both of those pieces as well as the artwork and oh my goodness those book spines!

Thrifting is my #1 way for shopping home decor. I thrifted a gorgeous antique chest more than 25 years ago and it’s still one of my treasured finds. Only $20! It holds our extra blankets and throws. Also purchased an antique china cabinet back in the early 2000s. Because the sale was closing and it was starting to rain, they knocked the price down from $100 to $25 if I would take it so they didn’t have to move it back inside. Sold!! I refinished it and it’s beautiful!!
Strange question Ashley, what lipstick are you wearing? I just love the shade!
