I was of the nu-metal era, and people forget just how toxic, sexist, and homophobic that time was. I always saw the emo kids as rebelling against that, and I always respected that.

as a scene girl who was 16 in 2008 emo boys kissing was drugs to me

"The art of emo kissing" is a classic

We used to be a country - a proper country!  Boys kissed boys!

I've never felt more called out by a video title

emo boys kissing 4ever

Elder emo here, this video deserves more views. It never fully disappeared but with the recent resurgence I feel like the kids need The Lore

My YouTube history when I was 11-12 in 2007-2008 consisted of anime amvs and emo boys kissing. The best or worst of times tbh

We should bring this back so I can kiss other emo boys ♥️

pete wentz and mikey way was my shipppppp omg Pikey LOVERS RISE UPPPP

I was a member of so many boys kissing livejournal communities as a teenager in 2003 (I guess I’m a crypt keeper emo now)

loving the reddish emo eyeshadow

As someone who grew up emo/scene I think most of the craze was just gays being unapologetically queer, lots of us were/are bi or gay and were never straight to begin with 😂

I was never an emo, more of an "alt" guy and alot of my social group as a teen included emos. Good god did i have a crush on emo boys😂 I think that was was a big contributing factor in how I discovered i was bisexual. Speaking of that, i always detested how bisexuality was turned into a fashion. Its not a a fashion. Its a real thing. Turning it into a fashion really was quite insulting to ACTUALLY bisexual people

as a lesbian i would love to see a trend of emo girls kissing❤️

I used to be emo and hang with emos and there were these emo/scene meetups in parks and dang they were touchy with each other 😂 good times.

Now i understand why whenever i look up emo theres like 999 pictures of emos kissing, most of the time gay/lesbian kisses

not gonna lie for 2 whole years (when i was like 11/12, before my emo "phase") I thought emo meant gay because of how much i'd see the words emo boys kissing lmao
