That would've been the right time to head back for the city (if you were already up there.) You should've left in the morning, you would've met people, the cable car may have been open and there's even a bus all the way to the cable car.

I think you don't have to change hostels only for the sake of new content - especially if that means you have to worry about things like bedbugs again. I much prefer to see you being happy and comfortable, exploring things and places that interest you, trying out new foods, or befriending a dog :) Just stay safe and prioritize what brings you joy!

Explore the macedonian parts in skopje you are currently staying in Cair soo your expiriencing the albanian part of macedonia explore around town... Also you have public transport for 0.75 cents... you can pay in the busses to the bus drivers 40 denari... If you want a bit of a tour i would definitely be down to show you around. <3

Hey Macedonian mountain biker here at 22:48 yo did a very dangerous decision and went on the mountain biking trail and not the hiking trail and if anyone was there they could have hit you. You should have went on the trail left which is the hiking trail and also there's a sign that says no hikers at the start of the trail.

The cable car and museums do not work on Mondays. All other days in the week, but Monday. The cable car too does not work on the last Tuesday of every month.
