Thanks for watching APEX Survival! Don’t miss my other Space Engineers series: No Suit, Just Scrap.

Just a suggestion: lower the volume of your background music - it sounds like you're shouting over the BGM.

I love how different people approach things in this game, you did some very similar things to Splitsie's tutorial series before he did them!

There's already a mod for growing food in the workshop, it's called - More Farms (Algae-style farm blocks for all crop types)

Been combining algae farms with camera, hinge, advanced rotor and turret controller, but adding the wind farms is a good idea. Means you can set up the wind farm construction at the outset like you have demonstrated.

You might consider putting up a GPS at a location when you find food just to see if it regrows in the same spot. I've heard both that it grows in the same spot and that it's totally random where it grows and regrows.

This was very enjoyable, i did things in a slightly different order, not better, not worse, just different. My base site is less scenic than yours. But that's +1 sub from me.

what was the button you were using for gps'ing your ores?

@csorgb05 1 year ago

the word you are looking for is "taken" not "tookin". Tookin is not a real word.

It's far easier to just use the elemental symbols:

Iron = Fe
Nickel = Ni
Cobalt = Co

Silicon = Si
Magnesium = Mg

Silver = Ag (Argentum)
Gold = Au (Aurum)

Uranium (Uraninite) = U
Platinum = Pt

Ice = Ice or H2O

And whatever for stone, though that typically isn't marked, as anything that is mine-able and isn't its own element is gonna be stone
Edit: Added exansions on Gold, Silver and Uranium
