Hi everyone! Which other scene from this movie would you like to see?

The most impossible thing about this scene is how Ethan was bouncing a completely irregular stone and catching it

I love how this video doesn’t say that Ethan Hunt escapes from a Russian prison, it says Tom Cruise escapes from a Russian person….lol

I love the big tattooed guy. Dude walks out and intimidates Ethan a bit, but doesn't beat up a random guy he doesn't know for no reason. Then, when the guards start flooding in, he steps up to take them on without hesitation.

This is the best Russian accent by an American actor I've ever heard. The way he said "сейчас" (now) and "пойдем" (let's go) were almost perfect.

Russian prison with electric locks, it's so funny)))) In Russia, doors are opened with ordinary keys.

Casting Simon Pegg was a stroke of genius.
He clicked with me the moment he went out in the morning to get some groceries, totally oblivious of a zombie pandemic around him.

That jump over the railing was flawless.

If only he could escape scientology as easily as this...

As a Russian speaker, I appreciate that they actually used real Russian. Hollywood normally shortcuts this, or hires horrible actors with fake Slavic accents...
The Dean Martin soundtrack + Simon Pegg made this scene perfection.  🍻 👌

That Russian dude at the end sliding down the rope at the end was Mr Grbic (probably spelled it wrong) - he was one of my acting teachers in film school.  Great actor and an awesome teacher.  He gave everyone an A whether you showed up or not, said the letter grade didn't mean anything, but he'd work tirelessly and passionately for the students who came prepared and wanted to work hard and truly improve.

I actually pleased that they using real Russian speaking actors to play. Tom Cruise is one of them

1:46 that was so smooth

This is my personal favorite Mission Impossible film. I loved every minute of it.

I absolutely love the interaction between Ethan & Benji through the CCTV 😂😂

Unfortunately for Tom, in Russian prisons the "electronic" locks are controlled by a button from the guard room. There's an analog connection where you need an electrician, not a hacker.

2:48 The look Cruise gives the guards, like: "i don't know"

What impressed me is Tom going over the rail, switching his grip while unweighted, then dropping easily to the floor below.

2:18 I like how one of the prisoners just starts casually dancing to the music instead.

Incredibly well shot. The scene at 1:00 although brief and uneventful in a movie all about action, conveys so much coolness of Ethan, the way he's just chilling as hell quite literally breaks loose and the rest of the members are scrambling to make stuff happen.
