Retired super-assassin John Wick's (Keanu Reeves) plans to resume a quiet civilian life are cut short when Italian gangster Santino D'Antonio (Riccardo Scamarcio) shows up on his doorstep with a gold marker, compelling him to repay past favors. Ordered by Winston (Ian McShane), the kingpin of secret assassin society The Continental, to respect the organization's ancient code, Wick reluctantly accepts the assignment to travel to Rome to take out D'Antonio's sister, the ruthless capo atop the Italian Camorra crime syndicate.

That gun shopping scene has a separate fan base in the Cinema world

That guy talking about guns just like Gordon Ramsey talks about food.

"And would you like coffee with breakfast?"
"Yes, please."
"And how would you like your eggs?"
"Tactical."

His reputation is such that even after retiring for years, a Continental boss asks him if he is there for the Pope himself! 😮

I think that scream is the only time i see Mr.Wick can’t hold himself anymore, the one last “Human”

I don’t think even the writers themselves thought the gun-tasting scene would become one of the most memorable scenes in cinema history - but it did only because of Peter Serafinowicz’s acting

The way he screams after opening the box. He has soooooo much rage inside him and yet he focuses it. He is the one you send to kill the Boogeyman. Scary. Also the fact they know he has the skill set to reach the pope is terrifying.

Julius' quiet relief at John saying "no" was hilarious

Also thats the original Django, Franco Nero

I would watch this movie over and over just for this sequence.

Mr Wick is an introvert, he doesn't talk unless he absolutely has to. Perfect character writing for a legendary assasin

I cannot help myself. "Angelo" at 4:32 is Keanu Reeve's tailor in real life and I think he also did the tailoring for the suits in the film. I enjoyed the visit to the tailor immensely but the Sommelier takes the prize as it comes to a "tasting".

I love the world building with the whole network of assassins. Every film introduces a new level and layer of this underworld that just surprises you by going deeper and deeper

"I need one for day and one for night"
That's such a rich guy thing to say.

That modified Benelli M4 is fucking awesome.

Well, Santino's men didn't expect him to be well prepared

At the 1:27 mark the Chassidik manager says "Zei matzliach", which the screen translates as "Happy hunting." The phrase ACTUALLY means, "Go with success," and is used in Yiddish for all kinds of ventures. So if you ever hear one Yiddish speaking (almost certainly Jewish) guy say it to another before a business trip, medical operation, vacation, etc., DON'T FREAK OUT! 🙂

4:10 best gun shopping scene in the history of cinema ❤

Okay can we all take a second to remember the Rome Continental's manager asking John if he's in Rome to kill THE POPE??? With a straight face

Love the Sommelier. He recommends weapons like he were presenting dinner and wine options to Sinatra and Dean Martin at the Sands in the 50's. I so want to Cosplay that character.

that scream meaning "how much hate he has inside to be dragged in again to this ruthless world but yet he's master in controlling emotion and remain focused.. Really he's a badass!!
