My mother inlaw a few years back was watching this and noted woman left money she realised it was her half sister she was broken hearted knowing what her dad had done and never came forward, She didnt want people to know

It’s a shame these folks didn’t leave their estates to their friends.

i would say a lot of inheritance gets used up in fees & taxes

Makes you think how much history is just waiting to be discovered 🧐

I wish this series was still going.

Unclaimed estates go to the government after 12yrs. Just imagine how much has gone to the government over the decades. Yet they want more money from the people through forever taxes 🥺

Clickbait title. He did not leave a fortune. He appears to have left nothing.

I loved Katrina and the waves. I saw them in concert one time. I'll always sing along with the song. I Walking On Sunshine "

Great story! We all have so much hidden in our past...

Violet's estate doesn't automatically go to those two grubby men, it goes to their mother who's in the same room with them and very much alive. Upon her passing, that inheritance will be distrubuted according to HER Will, and I hope she has one that shares all that she has far and wide.
This program also shows the worst in some folk.

I love what you guys do>>>>>

We had a Great Aunt who died without a will so a Middlesbrough Solicitor took over the case and infored us all so we reckoned to get a quick payout but no way, they found more  relatives then more so in the end all the money was gone due to Punch, Robson, Goundty and Macallum fees.

Officers would never shovel coal...

Referring to the title of this film, what was the fortune?

This is a wild ass story

Lies and deception he had nothing

HE DIDN'T LEAVE A FORTUNE!

Great video.  Love the personal impact focus.  I have a wonderful outlook on life even at 79 years. 16 years ago in my middle 60s I was told I came within days of dropping dead. No indication of heart problems except getting a little breath. Since then quad bypass , 7 cardiac catheterization and 3 stents. I have kept my outlook positive,  in the past 8 years become more active than ever,  working out at the gym 5-6 times a week and morning and evening home exercise routine. I also have prostate cancer being monitored for 8+ years.  Also lost a partner of 28 years. This all is just to say, don't under no circumstances stop living, make the best with what you have.  You stop living when you let things keep sitting on the couch and becoming a couch potato.
By the way, having been in the travel industry for 58 years, I am a big fan of Don's two channels.

Having done research on my late Mother-in-Law's unknown paternal family - I love this show!
