It’s interesting to me when it’s women’s mental health month or when it’s international women’s day etc. everyone is all on board for that, but when it has anything to do with men, or male awareness all the misandrists seem to come out and do nothing other than wanting to put people down and asking “why should I care about men!” It’s so dumb, not only that but it just fuels male stereotypes as well. Which is very sad.

Men spend the first 25 years of their lives being told, "oh suck it up and walk it off, just be a man!"  And the next 25 years being asked, "why won't you open up and be vulnerable?  Why are you being so stubborn and refusing to see a doctor?"

Fun fact, it was Men's Mental Health month first, but people forgot about it after Pride Month became more popular. Now when awarness is being raised in response to the mental health crisis, they care more about Pride Month being talked about maybe 10% less at most. It wasn't established to compete, it is just being brought back because its needed.

So men aren’t supposed to show emotions, but when men finally snap because of mental overload and emotional suppression it’s suddenly men’s fault?

It's wild as a man I didn't realize it was men's mental health month, but I knew it was pride month.

Due to severe abuse as a child I became suicidal when I was thirty yrs old. I desperately needed help. My wife, at the time, said that if I went to therapy, she would divorce me. So I got help and we separated. 😢

When a man asks you if you're having those days, it's not to insult you, it's to understand if you're serious or it's just the hormones.

Everyone hating on Men's Mental Health Awareness Month just doesn't understand the pain of a man

1:26  honestly tho. All of the woman that are saying Men's mental health month shouldn't exist are just the girls who were the actual aggressivers towards men

You would think that women who hate men would, you know, WANT them to be more mentally healthy? That way they'd be less a problem to them? The fact that they don't just shows it's simple prejudice and hate rather than any meaningful excuse for their distaste.

And also it became so bad that in south Korea they implemented laws against online bullying

Men are taught to repress their sexuality, because we are told it's harmful.

The goal is to raise awareness over a societal problem, all these people are illustrating why it's necessary.

It's not diminishing women experiences, it's not playing victim, it's not being weak. Raising awareness.

No one should be allowed to claim a whole month. Veterans give their lives and they collectively only get one day.  No one should even dare assume more.

I've never been told not to cry or "men don't cry" or Anything along those lines by another man. Women on the other hand...

I hate when people say "All the men/women I've been with have been abusive or this and that" and then use that to weaponize against everyone. Maybe look at yourself and figure out why you only find yourself with these toxic people and avoid them

we're all human regardless of gender race or sexuality who the hell decides who is more important than who? NO ONE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANOTHER WHEN WE ARE ALL STUCK ON THIS GOD FORSAKEN PLANET BEING CONTROLLED BY IDIOTS IN POWER WHO WANT TO KEEP US ALL DIVIDED BECAUSE IT'S EASIER TO CONTROL PEOPLE WHEN THEY'RE DIVIDED RATHER THAN UNITED. THE HUMAN SPECIES NEEDS TO GROW UP AS A SPECIES NOT JUST INDIVIDUALLY.

This is why i'm ashamed to call myself the same species as the rest of the human species on this planet.

I used to be suicidal, luckily I had a great therapist to talk to, and he's helped me a crap ton.

"Men tell other Men to Man up more."

Not always the case. In fact the first time anyone told me that it was okay for me to cry was a Drill Sgt after he had to read the Red Cross Message about my (Step)Dad dying. Meanwhile I've had Women in my life(my own Mother by the way)downplay my Mental Health the most.
