Your chat is so cool, I feel like most chats be hatingggg on female artists, especially pop, but they’re so chill😭🙏

love her versatility pop, punk, rock, to ballad. she's a shapeshifter. 😌

Broooo i actually cant believe how many of these songs made on radio like its almost all of em, and its her first album to like damn. 8.5/10 album

I genuinely believe that Olivia Rodrigo’s discography is perfection. That last track always manages to make me sob like a baby.

Hoping for a GUTS listen because that album is absolutely insane (and manages to make me sob every time)

Oh the chokehold jealousy jealousy had on me, that song went triple platinum in my house, along with one step forward and three steps back

Yes she writes all her songs you should even check out can’t catch me now and all I want

You’ve discovered the best rock & pop artist in the last decade! But DUUUDE, you haven’t fully discovered her yet. You have to check out some of her live performances. In many cases she sounds even better live! Check out her DMV Tiny desk to hear her sing 4 of the songs you just heard. It’s *INSANE* how great her voice is live, but even better, her performances. Not sure if it’s her classic acting skills, but she sells TF out of every lyric live. Hope you join us Livies, haha.

DO GUTS NEXT!!! its her sophomore album :) Also yes, she writes all her music ❤. GUTS came out in 2023 (after SOUR)

Can't wait to see your reaction to GUTS 😂

Haven't listened to the full album in years, watching this made me deadass scroll through me and my ex's texts, ts does smth to me

When Olivia put out Sour she had already been a child star for about a decade with Disney being in two of their biggest series along with the movie American Girl Dolls…she always acted in roles that also included music…
It’s how she ended up getting her record deal…
For Disney asked her to write a song for her role on High school Musical the Musical the series as the star Nini which she did called “All I want” that they out with no promo and ended up blowing up…
It then caused record labels to go on a war to see who would sign her; the label that got her signed a deal that was a mentorship role and allowed her complete ownership of her masters…
When she put out her first single it was never expected to go off the way it did…
She had a debut unlike any pop star seen since 1999 when Britney Spears dropped Baby one more time…
Her career has blown up on the same level as well and gone on the same trajectory as Taylor in terms of the records she has been putting out but also how she is the only pop/rock/indi artist that is able to have real eras still…put out an album, go on tour for 1-2 years before putting out her next album and even take a complete break from the spotlight before coming back with a new album and have her fans be ready for the next album…to break records…
Other artists could never think to not keep releasing music nonstop let alone take a break from the spotlight for fear of being forgotten…

Olivia Rodrigo is Half Filipino from her Father (her Great-Grandfather immigrated from the Philippines to the US) and Half American Caucasian from her Mothers side made up of German, Irish, English, and Austrian ancestry…
Her Father is also a Family therapist while her mother is a teacher…

hearing this album track through track for the first time in years is so crazy. I just kept getting goosebumps like I'm hearing it for the first time again.

GUTSSS NEXT

Great reaction man this was awesome I feel Oliva so much this album got me through a breakup my ex cheated with his abusive toxic ex he said he just was with me because I gave him energy i did what she didn't but he was afraid of going through the whole meeting family thing again so he went back to what he knew i was his longest healthy relationship he self sabotaged and then 6 months ago i met my now boyfriend and his amazing be the fear kicks in ive been hurt multiple times i keep waiting for the other shoe to drop me and Oliva are pisces so when we love we love hard and give so much sunshine but once were done were done he tried coming back 3x 2x when i was still single and 1x when he heard i was with someone that wasn't him my bestie told him stuff and he left me alone afterwards thank God I'm so happy now but also scared because me and my man are both going through it separately my bestie doesn't want either of us self sabotaging the relationship because we both deserve happiness finally both have it and were both scared but we both sing breakup songs like were not in a healthy happy relationship enough for you and favorite crime are my favorites on this album

I need you to listen to guts, but the full guts spilled

NOW WE NEED THIS GUTS REACTION!! Also you gotta react to some of her live performances

She writes the songs and then bring them to her producer to fix it up and add things I’m pretty sure
