Katseye doesn't necessarily make bad music; the problem stems from the fact that they’re under a company known for K-pop, and those insufferable K-pop fans impose K-pop standards on them. Songs like theirs always get airplay and go viral; the girls are charismatic and sing really well—especially Lara and Sophia. I’m not a fan myself, but it’s annoying how people try to paint them as bad when they dance better than all the girl groups combined, have incredible stage presence, and can actually sing. Their sound isn't all that different from Charli XCX, but K-pop fans love to praise some artists while tearing others down. Katseye's only misstep was "Internet Girl."

Let me explain “Iconic by Mistake” The grave represented that group because they were sent funeral wreaths on one of the members birthday. For the dentist scene, they were hated on for forcing their voices to go higher so that’s why they used helium to show them that their voices can go higher if they used high-pitched effects. For Katseye, the curly-haired girl/Daniella was hated on for dancing to aggressively and so she cussed at them. 3 main girl groups of Hybe were in this one MV which was so sick! There is more clues to it but I don’t have the time to rethink of them so…😅😊

When the internet girl came out I was loving it, It sounded good very energetic and fun to sing and dance along too it was very like a hype song where you just have fun, I can definitely see the hate on it bc it's very very random other than that I love it.

I know people love their music but I just wished they didnt really “experiment” a lot to where all their songs sound the same….Their soft-voiced songs like “Im Pretty” or “Touch” or even “My Way” , “Gameboy” just sounded so good with their voices. Also, their performance for Disney where they sang that Hercules song. Personally, they sound better at soft-voices songs rather than energetic, but don’t get me wrong, I love all their songs regardless, just wished they kept their debut music more…😢😊

YOU NEED TO REACT TO “NewJeans” please! They did disband one of the members due to court challenges, they have not all come back but their msuic is the most unique in the K-pop industry! Also, I don’t really think they have to change themselves for their fans….their fans chose to watch their music and so it’s not Katseye is fault. I am not in Katseye s fan base, I just listen to their music.

The hate on katseye is purely out of nothing
They're from a kpop a company so kpop fanaties expect them to fit the so called kpop standard. The songs, the way they act, and pretty much everything else.

When katseye do something they hate on it.

I mean you can just take a look at how kpop fans react to the lyrics of their songs. The lyrics are shit, just like majority of kpop songs. But kpop fans wouldn't even admit it, and would glaze the hell out of their faves anyways. But since it's katseye, they would all hate.

There are actually worse songs than these, but trust me they got less hate because they're koreans or because it's a kpop group.

Then there goes the purity culture, kpop fans expect them to be covered up, to be modest or be cute like how their kpop idols does it, but katseye doesn't do it so they all become misogynistic, shame their bodies, slutshame and sexualize these women for the love of it. I mean, they don't only do it to katseye, they also do it to female idols. They slutshame jennie or lisa for wearing such revealing outfits but glazes male idols for stripping and going shirtless on concerts. This, i feel like is simply double standards.

The against the girls went crazy too after manon's hiatus, everyone apparently hates katseye now because the company, the 5 girls hates the black member, based on their narratives. And that they kicked out the black member and her hiatus is blah blah blah. It's so annoying. She's only been gone for months, sophia has been on break for like a month too.

Idk if their fans know it or haters know it  but idols go on longer hiatuses, and it's normal when they needed a break from their idol life or in need of medication, mina from twice went on hiatus for like a year, jeongyeon too. Wendy took a 2 year break from RV. Rami from BBM too is almost gone for a year.

So yeah.

Everybody's hjust hating because they want to join the trend of hating katseye
