How is it really arriving in Manila for the first time? I asked travelers about their airport experience, getting a ride into the city, their first impressions, and how safe they actually felt during their first hours in the Philippines.

From navigating Manila's airport and finding Grab to unexpected warnings about public transportation, keeping your belongings secure, and what travelers noticed about Manila compared with what they expected — these are their real first-time experiences.
