Seth and Phil should just have a two person side podcast. This feels like a very gentlemanly discussion between scholars.

21:35 “the difference between 1 and 0 is infinity” is a cold ass Phil line

If Crim was there the ghost vacuum would be on the list for sure.

Since, if i remember correctly, you have lists of ever deck you ever played, may it be possible to have a game where only cards that have NEVER been played are allowed (except basic lands)?

Saffron Olive and Brewer’s Kitchen? Looks like we are drawing cards and making tokens! I’m all in! Let’s go!

Know what else goes in every deck? Creatures with feet. Where is that Commander Clash Foot Tier List?

4:15 “Nuts and bolts” - I love this term for the staple colourless cards. Nice contrast to calling the coloured staples veggies!

I'd love to see a podcast where you all cover an older set and discuss some of the forgotten cards or commanders that have gotten some spice since they were printed.

Thanks for helping me get back into the game, I haven't played paper mtg a long time and seeing this helped me get some fresh card knowledge. More "discussing the spectrum of good cards for a specific use case" breakdown videos like this will always get my entire attention

The Regalia is part of my ramp package in all colors. It is so easy to have a random creature to crew it and get instant value out of it

I like the whole crew dynamic but I also enjoy the smaller crew as both of you get to add more thpughts to the conversation than if you had two others also adding
