I got a special surprise in the mail from my friends at Audiocontrol! How epic is this? WOW! As you might know if you are a true basshead, the Epicenter is world famous and has been around a LONG LONG TIME. They just sold their 1,000,000th unit and to celebrate they made 5000 individually numbered limited edition Epicenters! I got one in the mail which was an awesome surprise but to have such a low number is an honor! Did you get one? if so put your number in the comments! Thanks for watching if you did!

What's it do? from the website:
"Your MP3 player thinks your car stereo is a pair of headphones, so it removes the bass! The Epicenter restores the earth-shaking power and heart-pounding bass your subwoofers crave.

Give your subwoofers the juice to go lower and hit harder. The Epicenter uses a bass circuit to drive your subwoofers lower, grabbing the attention of every eye on the boulevard."

features
Patented Bass Maximizer™
Dash mount control
Bass restoration lighted display
Parametric bass control
PFM Subsonic Filter
Balanced inputs
Bass Output Control

Could u use a epicenter with music with bass in it already ?

I prefer the Wavtech BassRestor over Epicenter these days.

@MrSonnydays40 1 year ago

If I did that Epicenter LE 2.0 would roll out two days later.

Any idea why my epicenter only works with 1 rca plugged in? When I plug both the woofer goes crazy

Damn! You got the 1st one off the line that's nice!. I just snagged one today brand new in box, never been opened and it's #2713.

Can you use this after the dm810 or before?

Will definitely need to set the subsonic filter. This unit will feed your subs the bass it needs especially if you made or have a tuned box tuned lowwww. I have a 32hz ported enclosure w/ X-12 v.3. The bass in the Old school rap never sounded soo good!! If you listen to old school you’re missing out. I was skeptical as well and finally pulled the trigger, soo glad I did. No more rebased songs from YouTube. This sounds waaay better and cleaner!!

Hey steve does the epicenter work with ALL type of music? Or just like Mexican music?

I use a Stetson processor in my system whose parametric EQ has the same adjustments as the bass processors. You can select the frequency in small, visual increments, adjust it's bandwidth and boost and adjust the volume of that channel in the level settings... what's so different besides a bass knob? I'm considering buying one, but I'm not seeing the benefit if that's all it does and I already have those capabilities that seem to be more functional

Is this epicenter better than other one with tha yellow light

@Doodlett 3 years ago

I am planning to buy one of these .

Will I need to reset gains with the volume knob at 100?

It was to my understanding that this unit does not increase output voltage , only re filter music that has been previously filtered .

I'm just trying to figure out , if I do need to reset gains , that's no problem . Just would like to know the procedure for that.

Sweet!!! Very nice work on your part as well!!

Hey are you able to make a box that would fit a 2017 Chevy Colorado under the back seat, with 2 - 10" Kicker VR Compt/T? It's very difficult to find credible boxes for my truck.

Thank you.
