Thank you Nick for a comprehensive and highly informative video. Do you know what sort of current you were pulling in that last bit of flying ? I might be missing something, but I see these being spec'd with 200A ESCs but II just don't see that kind of pull unless you are doing hard out 3D ? Cheers
Hi Nick, excellent video ! I just finished mine as a sport flying machine with 3D blades. It flies so well. I put a smaller 22T pulley on the tail from the beginning, with a 3 blade 105 tail Rotor. I fly mostly around 1500 rpm and I needed more tail authority. For the lipos, I fear that with lighter ones you'll have troubles to get the CG right. The shorter the lipo, the better it is... For the cyclic servo arms, I had to shave the end since they were touching the chassis with 12,5 Coll and 10 degrees cyclic, but I use different servos. I guess the 30mm grip arms help a lot here... For the phasing I'm curious to understand how you determine when it's mechanically ok, could you explain ? Interested by the 30mm grip arms vs the 35mm stock. I could try it out, it could make cyclic feel a bit quicker... Thanks again for the video, I hope you will bring it to RotorLive next year...Luca
