I brewed 100L of beer for a friend's wedding, kegged it all, and instead of priming the kegs with sugar, I went full pro-mode with forced carbonation.
For the love of science (and because a lot of you asked), I tested 5 different forced carbonation methods, from slow and steady to fast and furious:
🕖 Method 1 – “I’m not thirsty at all” (6–7 days)
🧊 Method 2 – “Still not that thirsty” (4–5 days, cold)
🫧 Method 3 – “Starting to get thirsty” (5h with carbonation stone)
💪 Method 4 – “I’m thirsty” (30–40 min with some keg rolling)
🚨 Method 5 – “I’ve never been this thirsty!” (10 min under high pressure with carbonation stone)
➡️ Which method is the most effective? The fastest? And more importantly, does it pour right and taste good? Let's find out together—with humor and precision 😄
