I had the same reaction as Spike immediately "Why is this another flashback???" Then I could breathe once they jumped forward again

Amazing show amazing ending. Only thing I would have loved if they had me as a creative is I would have made Jon's eyes slightly glow green when he charged the ring just for a quick second to hype up the JLU fans lol

I liked the ending, two parts bothered me though. Why did John give that white girl his money!!!!? And two, Guy hesitating with John made no sense, we just watched a movie where Guy was ready to fight SUPERMAN. Now a regular black guy has him shook, it makes no sense. We know Guy is crazy enough to fight anybody, that's why we like him. That scene made no sense because he looked terrified of John

I fuck with the new oath heavy. And honestly given John’s arc in the show it wouldn’t make sense for him to use the old oath.

Thought it was a good 8/10 show and an amazing start to the DCU GL mythos.

They did something interesting that I wish more superhero media would do... Gave us a different genre other than action.

Finale felt rushed

I pity Spike, he has no idea how black and amazing Michael Kiwanuka is. They played one of the blackest singers alive and popping

This was an underwhelming finish and them having John cover up Hal’s murder does not sit right with me. They basically were giving John a villains arch . Hit and miss series for me . Also could see Kerry and Noah reveals from episodes ago . Big time fumble .
