Thank you for covering votann! So many YouTubers either don’t cover them or make a joke of not covering them, thank you for this detailed coverage!

Yes!  This is such a treat as I learn Merc band

Great video and thanks for all of the hard work.
It is greatly appreciated.

One thing that I would love to see is you showing the mission layouts for these. You don't have to go into crazy detail with them. Mostly just to show that this is what the board looks like in these missions, where the objectives are, is the middle a single or double objective etc.

Dear @votannversus40k! First of all, thank you for all your videos!! This was a must to watch before last weekend tournament! Unfortunately, I did not but, leason learned and now I will follow this guidelines for my next game.

Liked the video, looking forward to seeing you do this for the other Dispositions.

Would like to see Purge the Foe next

Muchas gracias, me ha encantado y es un placer escuchar este tipo de vídeos y consejos, así como listas..100/100!!!

I love the tactical break down!

So I ran MOB at maelstrom and kept getting paired into beefy, fast melee. And oh boy that is an uphill battle! Purge was tough but mass darkangel speeders and bikes in recon really gave me fits.

Tldr love the tactial break down. Science man does not get enough love. Sometimes he does nothing others he lives the dream and picks up 5 blade guard

As a newer player it would be great if you could add a generic suggested deployment on one or more of the possible maps. I know that I would watch and rewatch that video, especially if you showed scout moves if going first or second. Love the videos, can't wait for the next.

Love take and hold for votann with merc/covenant.  get to fortify ASAP and load up on 2+ save steel jacks and HG.

I've been enjoying TAH so far for 11th merc + hearth cov plenty of guard and Jack's their tough to push off once I get there

The only downside of Merch against oathband is that merch has no real defensive strat so you're only counting on flipping the army rules ass soon as turn 2. I often leave my steeljack brick outside of hekaton at the start of the game to be shure that the memnyr gets me the 3YP

appreciate the content alot. I have really wanted to play take and hold but i have felt stuck to needgard because of how good the strats are. hoping the buff secure positions or something so i can stuff some hekatons with grimnyrs and warriors

down below

Slight mistake on the purge matchup. The middle part is only rounds 2, 3, and 4, so should be 15 for the base score.

Solid content man, just curious, where is the ruling that OC is determined before you can use stratagems? End of command phase 8.05 seems to imply the opposite as I read it, so I’d just like to know where this is clarified. Thanks!

Thanks for the video, it is truely interesting !
Can you tell me how you deliver units like melee steeljacks ? I mean they are quite slow and, even with the hidden rule, it's seems pretty hard to throw them where you want

Seems to me like the new rules are favoring take and hold and purge overall. I think the tournaments havnt caught up to what will win. But the new rules seems to actually favor a wipe your opponent grudgematch style of play. I think people are holding on to some of the 10th edition conventions that we will see change over the next few months a lot.

Maybe it’s a faction balance thing, but Take and Hold vs Recon has been an abysmal matchup for me. It’s pretty much Purge the Foe with extra steps and I’ve finished a 0 VP game as the TnH player

Slightly confused. I thought Vertus Praetors lost the Frame keyword. They should be measuring at their bases.
