Someone made an operating system that looks almost identical to Windows 11. At first glance, it’s surprisingly convincing, with the same desktop, Start menu, taskbar, and even a lot of the small details you’d expect from Microsoft’s OS. So I installed Winux on my PC to see what it’s actually like to use, how close it gets to the real thing, what works, what feels completely off, and whether it’s more than just a Windows 11 copy. There were quite a few things I noticed right away... and a few things I definitely wasn’t expecting.
