The missed high 5 at 32:19 has me crying 😅😅😅 poor guy.

This is the YT long form content I love the most.

There is a wonderful quote by Shakespeare in Troilus and Cressida: “Things won are done; joy’s soul lies in the doing”. DNF or not doesn’t really matter, you were out on a wonderful trail on a wonderful day!

What a great watch,no fail Andy, just a guy out doing what he loves doing, glad you recovered ok too, congrats on the 5000 🎉👍.

Andy, your RTTS video made me and my partner laugh loads as we prepared for the 100k non stop. Completed it, and honestly it was horrific - so hot!

Tough day out! But I'm sure 'that time a badger ate your drop bag' will become one of your favourite stories. These experiences are never wasted. One of the main benefits of planning your own stuff over organised events is that you can adapt and do what you like. Maybe a bigger pack so you can carry more stuff with you and keep your snacks safe from the wildlife? On that front, can I recommend Haribo Strawberry Pencils? (Home Bargains sell a good alternative). I cannot cope with heat at all so I plan most of my adventuring for the cooler months. Working on a plan for later in the year that might end up in your neck of the woods but trying to plot a route without hitting the big cities is proving tricky. Maybe you should start planning your 10000 subscriber special now because I don't think it'll take 5 years!

Great video Andy,I'm catching up on then all after falling behind over summer. I was wondering whether to go for a little run round the fields today and watching this gave me just what I needed to get out there and get it done. I have my first trail half marathon in a few weeks, which apparently includes something called 'Cardiac hill', should be fun.......keep up the good work mate

Cracking video once again Andy! Keep up the great work mate!

In Yorkshire you've obviously got the Pennine Way but also shorter routes such as the Dales Way or the tougher High Dales Way. Definitely good ones for a challenge

Absolute cinema. What a brilliant video Andy.

11:33 pine woods always give me goosebumps too, llike enterring a portal into a high and mighty mountain range.

Great job Andy, winning or learning

Surely the c2c has to be on your list, great to effort in those conditions

Really enjoyable watching your video Andy. Wise words and your journey is inspiring. Keep it up mate, great watching your training and races 👍

Well done on your attempt. The weather has been brutal lately. Not finishing was the right decision at the time.

Andy you made the absolute right call … Laura to the rescue 😍
Really enjoyable video 😊

Great work Andy, tough conditions ... us brits aint used to this heat !! I live in Gloucester and run the cotswold way quite often, starting in Cheltenham and ending around Painswick. The cotswold way takes you up the cheese rolling hill .... no idea how people throw themselves down it,  you have to stand at the top of it and look down it to fully appreciate the madness, lovely route to run. Self supported is nearly impossible in those conditions due to the volume of liquids needed. When you phoned Laura the sun is right above you and no shade or clouds, signs of heat stroke/dehydration. You did amazingly well, and you fed a badger/fox.

Where I live there are a few trails that go right through the area. Glyndwr's Way is one and another one is called The Severn Way. Whether they are runnable is open to discussion though 😂

Superb effort regardless Andy and you captured some exquisite footage. If your trail running videos fail to inspire someone to take up trails then I don’t know what will. Kudos mate. A bigger challenge is how long can you resist chewing a fruit pastille?

Always enjoy the Worcestershire way vids, still a solid effort and fun day out 👍

Great video as always Andy and great running. 100% correct calling it a day. You could have caused yourself real problems trying to push on. I reckon the body was totally depleted. You’ll go again that’s for sure.
