Hey man. You forgot to fill the deadline hole with concrete, the umbrella holder wasnt set, and I noticed that the rebar wasn't spray painted to prevent steel rusting into the plaster.

Which layer of the shell is the impermeable layer?

I'm in the pre-plaster gunite curing stage. Ground water is coming through the gunite wall where the jet pipe juts out of the gunite. This is not a pipe leak; it's ground water leaking from the outside of the gunite to the inside of the pre-plastered pool.

The contractor is saying this is normal. If it is, why is it in only 1 spot and what makes the pool shell waterproof? The plaster?
