56:57 can't believe it took me this long to be curious enough to research this but HOLY FUCK THAT'S A BANE LANTERN! It's a Wyrm Fetish used by The Black Spiral Dancers. Bennings & his cohorts had some serious balls trying to steal this thing.

Palmer, Bennings and Blair are all names from the Thing.
Can't wait to meet Norris, Childs, Garry, Noles, Clark, Fuchs and McCready.

Note to all - This video was originally released on 15/04/2025 on the main channel, QosmicVoid. It is being re-uploaded here to better fit my innate desire to have things like this organized. Reactions are going to be this here channels domain from here on out.

I just realized that the call for O'Tolley's burning down was actually Boy and Door and not just one of their chain's incidentally burning down.

I just realized a DASTARDLY narrative parallel in Ross/Russ being linked to Pentex/The Dark Eldar.
The BSDs entered the twisted, confusing,  mishapen maze that is the Black Spiral Labyrinth, from the Umbra--much like how the TTS Bearded Triumverate entered the nightmare city of Comorragh from the Warp. The WHs sought to fight and/or navigate their way through, to strike at the Wyrm, while the BT sought to fight their way out, and return to realspace. TTS abruptly ended, as the BT was fighting in the arena. But we know that the WHs were corrupted by the labyrinth into the BSDs. And one could draw a parallel to the Dark Eldar's proximity to Slaanesh/Chaos, with Pentex's proximity to the Wyrm. As well as the Bearded Triumverate fighting through Comorragh with the WHs fighting through the Labyrinth.

All of this to say... this is the Leman Russ that was broken by the Dark Eldar. Brought into his worst aspects, by them. The Warp/Umbra could not break him...but the Labyrinth did. And now, he is left as a grotesque mutation of the wolf he once was.

Cheers lads. Rewatching this one for the algo. Love this stuff.

Came running here thinking there was new HtP react content... but I am happy to do yet another rewatch of one of my favourite HtP audio logs.

1:43 "I'm not a reaction channel" you are now! Also rewatching you go through the dude^3 realisation was great

42:55 That's the mindset that gets you alive for several bloodhunts

Chapman was golden from the get go. Every scene invlolving him was and is the best... mostly cause he fills the role of a compromised straightman.

As I said on the original video, I still find it funny that you sussed out Matilda being a werewolf based on something as minor as "Her name is Wilde", but completely overlooked "Guy chapman" as a normal name.

Cant wait to get the O'Tolleys reaction!

Chieves is a misspelling/alternative spelling for chiefs. Like police chiefs.

Here is a tip if you don't wanna mention the terf story:

In most Dungeons and Dragons editions, along with most games that base themselves on DnD (Like Pathfinder, my beloved) there is a thing called Magic Focus. It is the same.

If you want a broader example; Gandalf's Staff or The One Ring also works.

Yeah, I had the same impression. I actually though Technocracy must be involved ever since the plane was shot down, so I was quite panicking for Kevin's fate for a good part of the episode

As for Ross, I was pretty terrified at first 'cuz I had no idea what he was. But now that I got time to think, I believe it's either Black Spiral Dancer or a wereape.

58:30 Pulsating black ripples is the symbol for Diablerie when read by Auspex. Some other things can produce it, but it's 90% likely that there's a vampire soul or something in there.

The void staring contest is going crazy

I also had the pleasure of a family that stood with me, despite not earning a dime (basically I had saved all my allowance and stayed at home for four years before my first true job). And that resulted in me getting a decent job delivering newspaper for approxamitly 1.6k$ a month. Taking a road trip after, and deciding to become a trucker earning 3.5k$ with a total of 700$ in expenses, rent, electricity water internet etc.

Now I earn around 4k$ a month trucking. have less expenses and looking to lowkey retire at the mere age of 35

13:18- You're doing exactly what a good reactor should do.

Nice, we get to see what Malcador does in his free time lol
