Big Smoke is not just a betrayer from San Andreas, he is a monster. Most people have no idea just how much evil Big Smoke truly is. In this video, I will explain why he was a monster.

This is a cut version of the original video because the original had the GTA: San Andreas introduction in it which unfortunately is copyrighted and Take-Two Interactive did not lift the copyright.

One correction: Big Smoke's name is from him always blowing smoke, aka talking bullshit. This is also why his nickname has the initials BS.

As a kid i always thought big smoke was there at cj's house cause he was protecting it from more balla's trying to attack it which made the his eventual reveal so out of left field for me lol

anyone who orders two number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda AND EATS IT ALL IN 15 MINUTES is a monster

It broke my heart when Big Smoke betrayed CJ. The game made it so real and made us bond with the characters like crazy as if we lived in the story ourselves. Absolute peak.

As iconic and funny Big Smoke's food ordering is, it's much more telling about how Big Smoke took the longest time to order just enough time to have the Ballas scope them out only to do a drive-by on them.

I missed out on noticing that because how funny Big Smoke was till I saw he was using that as a total distraction, hiding on his true intentions.

That's actually wild.

Big Smoke's appearance is actually inspired by Bay Area rapper E-40, not Biggie Smalls. Biggie Smalls never wore classes or had any facial hair, and he certainly wasnt from the West Coast

Him trying to speak Spanish was hilarious

In another Smoke video, my personal interpretation of Smoke’s character is that he’s someone who got everything he wanted only to later realize what it cost him. However, he knew he had come too far, and he couldn’t turn back. It wouldn’t surprise me if he buried/supressed any kind of guilty conscience he might’ve had.

Since we never speak to him until the final mission, the only thing we have to go on is how he was hamming it up on the radio station, and he had gone crazy/paranoid. When he see him playing those video games, he basically seemed resigned to his fate. He probably understood that karma was coming for him, and he didn’t actually deny the fact he was a traitor or that he deserved what was coming to him.

Big Smoke's comment about bread in Drive-Thru is also very telling. Keep in mind he says this after Sweet's suggestion about food.

"Man cannot survive on bread alone. I know, I've tried that shit."

You can read Big Smoke's comment as, "Man cannot survive living a simple life", you can see it almost as a criticism of Sweet's outlook on life.

How did he even manage to eat that entire order, and raid CJ fridge.

I bet everyone watching this memorizes Big Smoke's order like its the national anthem

When they looking at big smoke ordering all that food gets me damn near every time

A thing that I've been thinking about in the Drive-By mission is the symbolism of the orders. When CJ orders a number 9, Ryder immediately orders one just like his. I may be over-analysing this, but it kinda seemed like Ryder was trying to compete with CJ at every turn and couldn't deal with being his second at anything. I think Ryder knew all along about Smoke's involvement in the Green Sabre incident, but he decided to stay on the fence, which is why most of the missions involving Ryder actually seem beneficial for Grove Street while missions involving Smoke seem beneficial for Tempenny, Pulaski and himself. As CJ grew in importance in GSF, Ryder started to go over Smoke's side.

9:58 I always interpreted Smoke mentioning the same things that make us laugh also make us cry as a way of explaining how memories of the past can be good ones but, can also remind us of the loss. In this case, that would be the Johnson home.

What's funny is that his last words about everyone going to be remembering the name Big smoke is kind of true as he is the most memed character in the GTA universe besides Roman and Lamar Davis

@jjthe13th 1 year ago

Not part of the video, but some of these clips are HILARIOUS. Tenpenny running over the ballas, Ryder casually pushing a whole car with his bicycle like it's nothing 😂😂😂

Big smoke even throws the bat on the photo of cj's family you can even hear the glass smash the disrespect started from the beginning like he could have placed it on the table or even leaned it against the side of the table but he decided to throw the bat on the photo of cj's family, so much subtext like when big smoke says "but right now we gotta take care our business" to cj it sounds normal but big smoke could be saying because he knows if he doesn't turn up the funeral people are going to question it
