Can you get David Hirst on? Bet there's some stories there

Love it when they have a Brian Clough story

Absolute Godsend this podcast is. Gets me through shit times. Thanks lads.

Loved him at Forest. He put my mate in a headlock at the casino when he found out he was a Blade

Was very sad to see Jemmo leave Forest, wanted him to do well at Sheffield Wednesday at that time.

I loved the forest team of the late 80's and early 90's , Jemson was class, along with Ian woan, Cloughie, Pearce, Kean, Des Walker just to name a few. Coming from a Spurs fan.

He was class for Shrewsbury Town!

Jemson and goater up front for Rotherham United were the purest of football memories I have. Probably along with euro 96

Loved jemmo at shrewsbury.  Will always be remembered for the 2 goals against Everton at salop but also his partnership with Luke Rodgers !

Really enjoyed the show lads... Great to hear the players speak so openly 👍👍👍.. Some funny stories 😂😂

this channel is absolutely class. under the cosh  is like electricity and running water to me in my priotys . listened to every interview . some more than once. Leon knights will take some beating. keep up the good work lads

Top lad nigel jemson  brilliant podcast boys.

Hahaha -- take my dog for a walk while we sort your contract out.

Never in a million years would something like that happen today.

Clough -- legend.

Jemmo was underrated at Wednesday and suffered from their being a wealth of competition up front in that early 90s Hillsborough era!

I got the impression from here and elsewhere that Cloughie dropped him for the cup final out of spite.  That he didn't like him because he felt he was too full of himself and wanted to bring him down a peg or two.  Or maybe even more sinister, that he got a kick out of hurting him, breaking his heart.  I think he was fond of Glover who was apparently an unassuming lad.
I'm obviously only guessing, and it's a pretty dark take which may be completely wrong.  Especially as it would involve being willing to jeopardise his chances of winning the FA cup by picking an inferior player.  But Cloughie was a complex fella.

I've got a lot of admiration for Jemmo, loved at Forest and managed Ilkeston my home town. Looking good Nigel.

Really enjoyed that, some great stories

Gordon Watson came to hartlepool after his bad injury and was out of this world.
Best player pools have ever had in my opinion. Adam Boyd did his running and flash just smashed goals in from all over the pitch. Remember him being subbed after scoring two belters and him shouting to his mate in the crowd that he had won a good few quid betting on himself to get the first goal.

This was a quality episode. I was about 10 when the Prem started so I remember Nigel very well. A lot of people have forgotten that era, but for me it was the best due to the memories. He seems a really funny guy also. Crazy to think teams like Notts Forrest and Sheffield Wednesday have been back in the Prem League since relegation

We've got Nigel Jemson he's on 20 Benson na na na na! Good player at Hillsborough!
