Was going to do a Maverick Hunter X walkthrough, so I figured I'd upload this. It's an OVA made by Capcom that explains a bit of the backstory behind Mega Man X.

I appreciate that here Zero doesn't treat X like a child or a rookie. He treats him like a friend, a brother.

If only this was an actual anime series. Each season could be each Mega Man X game.. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME

I love how when Sigma says “…sometimes we Maverick Hunters can’t hesitate to pull the trigger…” you can hear somebody in the background say “DON’T do that! Don’t do that!”

In an alternative universe, Maverick Hunter X was a success and the following X games were also remade with their own OVAs.

Wait a second... Anime Mega Man X dub actors who are actually pretty decent? IMPOSSIBLE!!!

I regret that something this amazing wasnt continued. The plot and characters had limitless potential. The X factor sealed in a short animation instead of another legacy.

Looking back at the Megaman Zero series paints this whole scene in a whole new light to me.
Sigma keeps telling X how his unwillingness to put others in harms way even if it means jeopardizing the mission is his greatest weakness, but then in Megaman Zero, when Ciel creates Copy X who is almost exactly like him but lacks that trait, the fake X ends up becoming even more of a menace than Sigma himself all because of that. Given how Copy X was shown to be willing to kill hundreds and put them into unfair trials if it means ridding the world of Mavericks, which the original X would never want to do. His flaws end up being a strength in a way too because we see in Copy X what the original X would've been like if he didn't have that trait Sigma thinks makes him weak.

Love how Zero just walks up and Pats X on the shoulder. Almost like hes saying "Were all cool man dont worry."

This really needs to become an anime!!! It would be the best show ever!

It's such a shame that MegaMan X: maverick hunter was a flop and the series didn't continue. Could you imagine crystal snail's theme remastered? That would've been godlike

"your aiming capabilities are no different from my own. You could have easily hit the generator"
By that logic, you could have easily slashed the generator without dismembering your ally. Yet you did. If it were a buster shot, you would have missed
