The hardest part about X7 is trying to get over the trauma of beating the game, gaslighting yourself into thinking that it wasnt a complete waste of time

This video is like the perfect case study to why asking people with thousands of hours of practice how easy or hard something is tends to be misleading lol

I’m sure this Megaman difficulty video won’t be highly divisive

Mega Man 9 is what kids remember or felt Mega Man 1-5 being for the NES when we were kids.
None of those NES games actually were nearly as trolly or hard as MM9 is, but thats how most of us remembered them to be when we had zero experience of gaming yet.

Mega Man X7 is so weird in terms of difficulty. Most of the time it feels like a 1 but then some random bs will make it so frustrating that it spikes to a 5.

I have very little talents in life but one of them is being really good at mega man 1 for some reason, I can beat that game in like 30 mins without much trouble, and yet I'm bad at so many other easier games

In general, I find the X series way easier than Classic. The range of mobility options that X and Zero can use makes it way easier to make split-second adjustments to my movement. By contrast, if I’m playing a Mega Man Classic game and I mistime a jump, I’m shit outta luck

Having MM1 and MM2 side by side in difficulty is absolutely criminal.

Hearing the Zero games were harder than other Mega Man games makes sense. The Zero character looks really cool, so I played that one as a kid and couldn’t get halfway through it.

Have to disagree with megaman 7, even if the stages are not as challenging as in other games, tha final castle is basically hell, specially the Willy machine that is (for me) the hardest boss in the classic series

I would personally do an alternate list for "Buster-only" category for classic and X, because is an interesting challenge once in a while
(let's ignore Hi Max in X6 for that)

The real difficulty of x7 is finding any positive points in the game.

Omg I'm a big megaman fan, but after watching this vid, I realized I still haven't played a lot of megaman games!! I'm excited to try them especially the megaman zero ones when I have the week off. Thank you for this review!

The thing about the OG NES trilogy is not cheesing your way through it, that way it ain't as "easy" as you make it out to be, specially if you play without a guide telling you the bosses weakness.

The Mega Man Zero games are and were so much fun to finally play and beat even if I didn't master them.

Since you’ve made an “Every Megaman X level” video, would you consider doing an “Every Megaman Zero Level” video as well?

At first I was super confused with some of the easier rankings like MM3 being so low, then I remembered I mostly do buster only which throws the whole thing out of whack...

Contact damage is insane in X3 and every boss just wants to ram you.

Mega Man 9 every single stage except Concrete Man stage has one annoying spot

Mega Man 3 getting a 2 is insane. There are portions of the game where if you finish a clone fight but you don't have enough Rush Jet power to finish the next section, you have to game over. There are numerous poorly designed platforming sections with airborne enemies and constant seemingly unavoidable hits that drain a ton of life. Enemies are also highly resistant to powerup and health farming and most of the bosses are programmed to sit directly on top of you without giving you much of a chance to fight them unless you have the weakness ready.

Having to use Top Man on the final boss means if you mess up you're completely screwed and have to game over for no reason.

I could go on.
