After years of living abroad, I finally got to take my American husband home to South Africa! 🇿🇦❤️
This trip was extra special because it was Devin's first time experiencing South Africa—and his first time meeting my family! From our long journey from Korea to South Africa, including an unexpected hotel stay in Dubai, to finally arriving home and spending time with my family, this trip was full of some really special moments.
We spent time eating South African food, exchanging gifts, introducing Devin to some of our culture (including his first Savannah 🍻), exploring Johannesburg and Soweto, visiting important historical sites, and enjoying some good old-fashioned family time.
We also squeezed in some sightseeing around Sandton and ended the trip with a half-day safari where we got to see zebras, giraffes, lions, springbok, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards and more! 🦁🦒🦓
