Rhys is a lost cause. Attacking the elderly is lowest of the low & breaking into your own mother's house. Disgusting.

Gemma is a prime example of people who slip through the net with Mental health problems, this Government really need to get a grip.

I'm with Rhys mum. She has other people to worry about especially her own mental health. He needs to grow up and stop trying to guilt trip his loved ones.

I really like Gemma and her last moments crying about her headspace...nearly brought me to tears. I'm in her corner and know exactly what she means!

Rhys needs to stop lumbering his Mom with debt, get a job and start paying her back. She needs to change the locks, again.

I am really confused as to why Azhar managed to procure immediate same day housing when he walked out of the family home therefore making himself 'intentionally homeless' under Emergency housing guidelines... That seems like an unprecedented gift even from my own personal experience (I was also, homeless and addicted to drugs in my long ago troubled youth) and meanwhile other far more vulnerable people like, Gemma are living on the streets and are still waiting to be housed after 14 months. Somethings up there🚩! I really hope all the people that featured in this film find the stability and healing support they need in order to recover their lives and build positive, peaceful and healthy futures for themselves🕊💚🕊

when he stood outside that boys home, and broke down. I knew it was about abuse, he was abused in care as a young lad.
So many young boys and girls, there lifes totally destroyed, by adulrs in positions of trust sexually abusing them.

Azar acting like a damn child. You don't like the rules they have in THEIR home, LEAVE! He's meant to be an adult yet the only thing he's done to act like it is be charged, sentenced and imprisoned as one. Pathetic excuse of a "man".

Azar if clearly suffering from main character syndrome.

I work in a prison and I believe that everyone deserves a 2nd chance. I’m very pro prisoner and love my work. 32 years is an awful long time and I hope he grasps this 2nd chance . You can normally tell who will and won’t succeed .

Poor Gemma having to allow rapists to access her body to get drugs is so sad :(
I hope she can get help, get clean and learn some self worth again 😢

These people are their own worst enemies. You have to decide that it's time to grow up and you want a better life.

I feel very sorry for Jason. He deserves some good fortune to come his way sooner or later.

what a great documentary! I notice many common denominators in these stories, drugs/alcohol/mental health issues and lack of job skills or people willing to hire them. It is foolish to think someone can do time, and return to their environments with zero. not even a bed in a shelter! the system needs to focus on giving these people the help they need, not just providing 3 meals and a bed than out on streets with not even a meal. terrible terrible situations. I get the theory "Id rather be back in jail, so I steal until i am caught." life in jail is a lot easier than this cruel world. good luck to all, wishing the best in a terrible situation.
