For me, one reason i love vinyl is because someone made that record, original or remix. Just let it play. Nowadays, it seems to be all about the drop, after drop after drop.

The man is an absolute machine. Without a doubt the best DJ of all time and still at the top of his game!

Almost 31 years after his first Essential Mix in 1994....Still at it , still banging, still elite.

No hands in the air, no constant twisting of the knobs, no long and dramatic transitions, just pure class mixing from arguably the best in the business ever since 1991 (and I've seen him quite a few times during the rave scene)

This is club culture, this is the sound of Ibiza. Carl Cox played one of the best sets from his career. Great mix. Thank you BBC Radio One to have this chance to see Carl Cox live.

No constantly smashing the big drop after the big drop for your insta reel hit, no jumping around like an absolute monster with sweaty randoms, just playing vinyl and letting the record play and then playing something that follows it and keeps the flow of the room moving, making you realise this (throwback to how parties were) can still be a thing in 2025 at a place like UNVRS and doing it all whilst wearing shades LIKE A BOSS!

What a set! What a legend! Saw him do 3 turntables at a rave in Toronto for 3 hours in the nineties. He is the GOAT!

It does make me smile to think I've been listening to Carl Cox longer than many people in the audience have been alive... And still the big man is bossing it! Yes Carl!
