I recorded this years ago on VHS, and had the pleasure of sharing it with Tom Wilson, who told me he had never seen a recording of it before, almost 20 years later.

A criminally underrated performer. He should have really been HUGE.

Tom Wilson's worked constantly since BTTF, but he's a character actor (which is what usually happens to the more versatile talent).

Who knew the bully was a geek, I also play the sousaphone it's pretty awesome seeing someone like him play it too

I love that he is NOTHING like Biff Tannen, thats the mark of a great actor. Watching him, I dont see even a hint of Biff. He's funny, can play Tuba, guitar, and God knows what else🤣 Insanely talented, he should have had his own show.

I was an aspiring actor back in the early 90's in LA. I met Tom Wilson at a Catholic Christian dinner, he gave a speech. So funny, so inspirational...I was so impressed with this man. That's when I realized his talent and his humility. Wow, thank you Tom!

Tom in the real world is an amazing fella! He seems down to earth and not like "Hey, I'm a big shot actor and you're poop in the pool." His humor is as funny as the best of them, he's an artist and musician, sings, and I guess he dances. Talented all the way around.

The comments are totally on point.
How this man never became a megastar... we will never know.
I think that it's because, as he himself has said, so many people believe that he IS Biff even though his real personality couldn't be more detached from that character.

Tom nailed it. I love to see Johnny genuinely laughing from the guest.
