If you buy ANYTHING from Amazon, consider using one the links in the descriptions on my videos. On most items I will get a small commission, EVEN IF IT'S A DIFFERENT ITEM THAN THE ONE I LINK TOO. It doesn't change your price either.

"I'm not an AI voiceover. I'm real."
I don't know... sounds like something an AI would say.

There’s way worse 2600 games than PAC Man. Sure it was disappointing, but it’s 100% playable which is more than you can say about a lot of 2600 games

You almost blew my mind with the HERO fake out. That was one of my favorite games from my 2600 years.

I owned Air Sea Battle, Yar's Revenge, Berserk, etc., over 40 years ago. They seemed awesome at the time.

Anyone remember “Haunted House?”

The Quest games were supposed to be sequels to Adventure, which was a smash hit and established the Adventure genre. The problem is that instead of staying with the basic premise of Adventure, the programmers got distracted trying to make the player character more realistic and introduce 3D segments, sacrificing the maze, puzzle and item collection mechanics.

The Quest games failed to please Adventure players and also failed to attract new players, because they didn't cater to either group and, as mentioned, were baffling to most players.

“Conflicting statements”
Dude she’s tied to a post on the box cover. There was no ambiguity about consent there. It’s insane someone actually released that 😂

That Double Dragon game is a travesty.

I do agree that having E.T. The Extra Terrestial for Atari 2600 on worst games is really not the worst game of all time. Heck the two before E.T. I find to be significantly worse. When looking at the history of the Atari landfill it is certainly an interesting read about it.

The dev that worked on ET for the 2600 was only given 6 weeks to complete the game to be on time for the holiday season. Compare to any other Atari game at that time 3-4 months development time. Group think does factor in what people consider to be the worst game for Atari 2600. E.T. is far from being the worst as the game has an objective, commands placed for what E.T. can do and can actually be beaten once the pattern recognition kicks in.

Disappointing is the right word for Pac-Man on the 2600. Me and my brother were so excited when it came out, and we went up to the game shop at Baybrook Mall in Houston in 1982. My mom, who knew (and cared) literally nothing about video games, took one look at the game playing on the demo in the store and said, "Do you still want it?" Even she knew it was bad. And it was.
