Thank you for sharing and putting your time into these! Yours is probably my favorite channel to learn about camping.
FWIW: what you are calling a "snap bowline" requires that the core of the knot be arranged first (the loop with the standing end pulled through as a bight). Once that is done, the bitter end is passed through that bight and finished as you show here. This is the part which may be helpful: pass the bitter end around the object (the tree in this case) then pass it through the standing end bight as normal. This will form the bowline loop around the tree and not require that the standing end be pulled through or secured with a toggle (as shown here). It's hard to describe in text but playing with cordage you'll see this quickly. No disrespect to the toggle (or you).
