Can this "Great Snake" approach--where you just send a wave of attacking pawns AHEAD of the pieces that support and just wait behind for opportunities--be used against other openings? I've always hated seeing c4 to open so I hope I can turn the game into total chaos with this. Thanks!
Usually in the English, I try to play for d4 that is something like finachettoing the bishop, playing Nf3, e3 and then d4. I don't exactly think the Great Snake Defence is a good counter against English.
