I’m not a parent yet, but I’m at that stage where I’m trying to build my career while also thinking seriously about starting a family. Lately, it’s felt overwhelming, like I’m being pulled in two directions and somehow falling short in both. Hearing this conversation reminded me that this tension isn’t unique to me, even though it often feels that way in the moment.
Knowing that so many people go through this same balancing act — the uncertainty, the pressure, the self-doubt — was incredibly reassuring. It helped me feel less alone and a lot more understood.
