I've been flying this heli quite a lot recently. Still a beginner to 3D flying, but overall it flies great and I've zero complaint about it. The parts are reasonably priced so I don't have to worry about the cost of crashing when that happens unfortunately. The color scheme is very visible; so even though it's not very big, I don't lose track of its orientation when it's far away. I've FC6250HX on it and it did take me some time to fine tune the swash plate and tail.
I just installed a nexus in a 470. Flys great. Amain has them on close out for 47.00. To be fair, it took me a week to figure out the setup, but I was also learning the new radiomaster tx16s. Coming from icon it's way different but in a good way. Once you figure it out it's does anything you can think of. Thr ELRS is the way forward for me. It just works, no more Spectrum binding frustrations. Links up on a keyword phrase of your own making. Nice video, I'm torn between the tb40 and the raw 420. So glad I didn't buy a oxy4 max. I have 2 oxy 4's that are all but obsolete at this point. If you have any problems with rotorflight I would be glad to help you out.
I got the Tb40 still in the box, I will do myself a big favor just to buy the 6250hx fbl and use forward programming to set mine up without all the ups and downs. Thanks for sharing
Great video Chunky, and I agree with you regarding the beastx, I've just bought the TB40 TOP Combo!! So once again will have to troll the endless pages of crap on the BeastX wiki sight, sadly I've done it all before and it never gets any easier!! However I do enjoy the way the BeastX flies, I've been looking on the Wiki sight and I can't find the latest version of the manual 5.9.9 were you able to get a pdf for the manual and the quick start card ?
Donβt get the nexus you will be in a world of hurt. If you think the beasfx is difficult then you will need a phd to figure out how to program the nexus
