Love your educational videos. Serious, yet have some of that funny vibe from "The Red Green Show" (handyman and duct tape) - but your things actually works đ¤Ł
I used to.plsy eith these 15-20 years ago, as a teenager, i had a few souped up nitro RC trucks, they are loud, they are dirty, they break alot lol. The electric ones these days are really great but those little nitro motors are ferocious for their size
I hope your channel grows to the point you can get into some of those higher end mini engines. (Idk, maybe you already have but I havenât seen it) Thereâs a whole mess load of V8 etc. models out there that run much like this but every time I see a build video itâs a heartless, funless, sanitized drone with black gloves and no commentary that builds it. I want to see someone ENJOY building one. I know youâd love it!
When I was a kid I had a McCoy 60 redhead. These were made for teacher cars, hydroplanes, and large airplanes. You could lose fingers but OMG the noise it made was unbelievable.
Back when I was at school in the early 1960s we were all big into control line aeroplanes with 1.5/2.5cc compression ignition engines⌠the glow plug engines werenât that popular in the U.K. back thenâŚ.and this was before R/C had arrived đĽ´. I absolutely loved them, friends and I passed many happy hours flying them and bandaging up propellor cut fingers!đ¤Ł. I guess they would be considered far to dangerous for kids today! So glad I grew up before computers and screen time ..and grew up with dangerous noisy stuff. though. âŚ. The other one was the little Jetex solid fuel rocket motor for model aircraft. .. great for burning your aircraft and fingers with!đ. You have a great channel Caylee.!
Loved the nitro vid.. and the troubleshooting vid on the CNC lathe was fascinating.. as is your sense of humor !! Fun stuff would be to make a super light weight gear drive speed reducer to turn a larger prop.. The useful torque band is sky hi so you'd need to slow it down w/ PSRU.. Driven gears of different pitch/count to match your clutch spur gear is an RC car item.. shoot for about 9K or less on the prop. (retired airline pilot and hack machinist :-) FWIW.. there might even be a financial incentive if it could also spin an extension shaft for "pusher" models. Blessings from 'Nawthrn MS. Thank you.. đ˘
