For God sake Caylee, $290 is the MINIMUM you should be charging for now. You can lower the price later! Most people would happily pay $300-350! There must be something you can offer for cheap like 3 different colours that allow you to have optional pricing... Purple $275, Blue $290, Gold $300 and Silver $315 or something. Don't cut yourself short at this stage or it could end you before you even begin!

Don't beat yourself up. Even at $315 it's still a great deal for a handmade ultra quiet suppressor. Call the $275 an "early bird special" so people know that the price will go up in the future.

I’ve owned my business for 27 years and can’t convey this to you loudly enough- do not short change your self and sell your product at a loss. Your business will not survive that way. Your customers need to understand your level of quality and dedication and they need to be ok with paying your prices. They will support you. Don’t sell at a loss, please. I want you to succeed.

Please let me say, that every time I turn on one of your videos, Caylee, I watch about 20 minutes of something of quality, that you should be VERY proud of putting your name on and putting into the world. That's a fact. I'm a new viewer, have only been watching for a few weeks, maybe? I love your channel, and I had no idea that you made suppressors. This is, 100%, one of the coolest videos I've watched in a while. It's everything that I'm into, including your "jenk" press. I'm a maker, and have several friends that are as well, and I envy for those machines. That's a bad ass suppressor, and if you haven't already, you should sell it for what it's worth, whatever you can get for it. Seriously, it took me a long time to get past that. It's imposter syndrome, or, it seems kind of like it. The matter of fact is, you HAVE created something of GREAT quality, you put your fuckin name on it, and you'll put them into this world! I'm proud as hell of you. Those machines are not cheap, nor are the materials. You shouldn't be ashamed to make 3x your money on each unit. Whatever the industry supports. It's YOUR hard work, your vision, your sacrifice (even if you love the work, it's still work, and eating your time), and the gamble YOU took, to make them. You should be rewarded for your hard work. It'll only allow you an even better life, money for an employee, and to help yourself scale a little quicker. Having money is different than living for it. It's a byproduct of everything I mentioned above. On a different angle, selling your cans cheap (lol, sorry) might actually hurt the brand, as people who don't watch the videos might wonder why it's so cheap. Cheap being the problem. If that makes sense. Keep up the great work, and thanks for being you. Any other YouTuber would demand a premium, because they built it. You don't, and that says a lot. You're perfect. Just keep being you, and you're going to kill it.

Alternately, if you want to sell ALL of them at $300, I'll buy every one of them from you, and sell them for what they're worth. (I wouldn't actually do that. I hate scalpers. But, you see what I mean?) That's my ten cents. Stay you! 🙂

Caylee, I designed and sold a new Ambidextrous M4 rifle charging handle to the SEAL teams, some US Army Delta and civilians for 10 yrs. I had to farm out most of the machining processes. In your case, personally, for now, I would look to farm out making those baffles. You can buy a shit ton of baffles for 35k if you had to.  Which gives you time to make sure this will sell at the numbers you need. Then later, if you still need to, buy the machine. But for sure from this video your baffle process is the huge bottleneck. Lack of speed and time is your enemy.  I never saw you before. I love your attitude and you crackled me the fk up.  And truthfully, a better mousetrap for 100 bucks more give or take isnt shit. Most gun guys, especially former Spec Forces guys like myself have so much money tied up into our kit, another 3 to 500 bucks isnt squat. so I wouldnt sweat that. And I have the perfect Russian Biathlon rifle for one of these cans.

A trick I learned a while ago for pricing your first products is not to simply say "alright I have to settle at 275 bucks for now just so I can start selling" but instead say "it's usually 350, but right now you can get it at 275, limited time offer". This way, people have the feeling of getting something with a higher value for a lower price rather than something cheap, and secondly if you ever decide you want/need to sell at 350 you don't have to "raise" your price, you just let the special offer expire. Raising prices upsets people, getting seemingly better value makes them happy. Same financial result, big difference for the customer.

I thought it was bold initially for it to be $200. I expected this which is why I’m not disappointed, you’ve done amazing work and you are clearly committed to ethically charging your customers which is all we could really ask for
