Lane Staley and Jerry Cantrell created some of the most beautiful harmonies in this era.

I have been waiting for you to review this video. Makes my grungy little heart happy  Alice In Chains was in a league all of their own. Enjoy!

"Down in a Hole" is a soul wrenching masterpiece by 'Alice in Chains' an absolute Must!

Don't apologize for explaining reverb, and all of the engineering that goes into this is. That's why I come to see your stuff. I'm fifty four. You're great.

Alice in Chains are the GOATS!!!!!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤ RIP Layne Staley and Mike Starr ❤

That guitar tone you couldn't put your finger on? That's the epitome of grunge.

"Love hate love" live will blow your mind ❤

you will find it hard to match the emotion that layne brings to every song

Brother I judge how much you really like the music based on how many Stank Faces you make during your reaction. 17 of them in this reaction. Yeah you liked it.  The harmonies between Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell are epic legendary. Layne's voice is otherworldly. Alice in Chains is phenomenal in every sense of the word.

You again have the “clean” version 😂😂😂 but they have many great songs Down In A Hole is amazing RIP LAYNE

“Dirt “ the album is a must
“Rain when I die “  is a great one
Them bones
Love Hate Lobe Live at the Moore
In fact Live at the Moore is banging altogether

Great reaction 🎸

You have to check out their live performance of love/hate/love at the moore theater. To appreciate Layne's voice and range.

Oh man, Alice in Chains is a whole rabbit hole, they are highly diverse. Probably two ways you can go for the next step, either hard side with songs like: Rooster (classic radio hit, more accessible), Would?, Them Bones, Junkhead (harrrrrd and dark), or you can go softer with anything off or Jar of Flies or their MTV Unplugged session which is now the studf of absolute legend but is a very different side of them (sort of 'when the anger fades what's left is sadness' kind of territory).

Either way you'll notice that as time goes on they are deeper and deeper into their music being about addiction and death, and it's possible to look back and see much of their discography as being "about" Layne's ultimate death and the drugs that got him there.

But re:his voice, you ain't heard nothin' yet...

You should pick up a guitar.
Tom Scholz from the band Boston started on piano when he was six and  didn't start playing guitar until he was in his early twenties.
He then proceeded to write some of the greatest guitar driven songs of all time.

You definitely need to watch/listen to AIC Unplugged concert. The music is so haunting and beautiful. Jerry was carrying Layne and the emotion is palpable.

Don't Follow by Alice In Chains is a needed reaction

Dude !! You really need to watch them sing LOVE, HATE, LOVE live at The Moore (Seattle) its widely thought of as one of the best if not THE best live rock performance ever .
Also of course the lyrics arent 'Shove my nose in spit ' You seem to have the PG version it should say 'in shit' 😂😂

The guitarist is singing with him. He does the " can you so them shut" and etc

Alice in Chains were one of my favorite grunge bands of the era.   Just a great sound and incredible writing with a lead vocalist whose voice resonates through your body.

RIP  Layne Mike Thank you fellas 😊❤
