(🇺🇸) I wanted to clarify some choices regarding reactions and expressions. Some might say the Phantom Troupe shouldn’t show certain moments of surprise. In the scene showing Kurapika’s powers, I based it partly on Uvogin’s own reaction, since Nen Specialists are extremely rare. Before Kurapika’s second category was revealed, it didn’t make sense to the viewer, he showed strong affinity with Enhancement and Conjuration, which at the time seemed like Manipulation.
As for Gon, the reaction was due to his absurd spike in raw Nen.
Regarding Alluka, I don’t even need to explain, it’s simply the largest amount of Nen ever shown in the anime. Even the Zoldyck family was shocked, despite already knowing Alluka.
About Hisoka, you might be wondering why they were so surprised by Shalnark’s death and not Pakunoda’s. What I wanted to convey was a reaction of extreme rage. They were consumed by hatred toward Hisoka’s audacity, infiltrating the Troupe, disrupting their plans, and even taking out one of the legs. That reaction stems from their hatred of Hisoka, not necessarily the deaths of Shalnark or Kortopi.
