"But now we shall both surely drown"
"lol" said the Raindeer "lmao"

after the video ended, youtube autoplay queued "Why Rain World Has the Best AI" by Htwo as the next one lol

Opening your map is just checking a watch

4:20 it's funnier seeing this after having raged with the raindeer myself and reading the wiki as a result. I then learned that when the rain comes, they try to shake the slug cat off by doing that back and forth movement. but somehow labelling it as a dance makes it seem so much more unserious and had me losing my shit 😭

Red Pearl made me rage too!
it is second hardest Pearl in the game
Also if you dont know, you can throw puffshrooms and all deers will move to the location you throw
so yeah you need 2-3 puffshroom to get that pearl

First puffshroom for the first Deer ride
Second is for the going back
Third one is for the give direction to Deer
*I think developers made this pearl impossible for people who dont know puffshroom gimmick*

And people say this game is a masterpiece
I kid, but only slightly. I wish for a creature that was mandatory to survive and progress you could control it better.

Before I found out you could ride their antlers, I decided to use a rope worm I’d kidnapped to ride this thing. It ended up finding the biggest patch of worm grass and lowered me into it.

And it turned out I had missed an important story location after all that.

I thought I was the only one who had to suffer waiting for a single rain deer until I saw these kinds of videos. Makes me feel more confident about myself.

thankfully they're gonna make it so you can wiggle the raindeers antler to make them go left or right. I think them not showing up will still be an issue though.

Ah see, the best way to collect pearls is to close the game and check the wiki.

this perfectly sums up my time in Farm Arrays that it's given me PTSD.

Yeah that area sucks.
For me I hate because
1: the deer are slow and very hard to get off at the right time
2: the godforsaken parkour bit after the first deer ride
3: I’m playing as gourmand

There is a mod that deletes worm grass from the game, allowing traversal of farm arrays without reindeer. This video has been my experience with reindeer so I'm not looking back

Rain World is frustrating, unfair and 100% against the player at all times....
a n d  I  L O V E  I T

Honestly it wouldn’t surprise me all that much if this was on purpose. Since even with the tweaked rain deer ai option in the remix menu, they’re still mostly the same. Pushing you off of things, letting you grab them only for them to just not move until the rain comes, and them moving their heads down onto the floor for the worm grass to pull you off and eat you alive. That’s the main reason I just go through drainage to get to filtration instead of going through pain arrays.

You know, in the Steam workshop, there is a mod that removes worm grass

Rainworld looks so cool to play :00

2:21 i dont think it was the deers fault you died in that scenario

Last time I had to ride a Rain Deer, it stayed loafed on the ground for a solid minute. I was playing spearmaster so i just kept stabbing it in the back of the head til it finally got unstuck.

Oh God, Farm Arrays. Made me rage a good amount of times.
