This whole EP is Nate going thru the stages of grief

FEAR → Shock/Denial
HOME → Bargaining/Denial
WHO I WAS → Depression
GIVE ME A REASON → Anger
SORRY → Depression/Regret
WASHED UP → Acceptance

I don’t know why life treats NF so rough.
The poor guy was all excited on “Careful” talking about how he bought his grandma a house, and then she passed away while he was on the HOPE tour.
I’ve seen people complain like, “Why didn’t NF talk to the crowd?” or “His show felt too short.”
Now I get it…
He’s really going through it.
After losing his mom, his grandma was the one he had.
It’s just heartbreaking damn

4:25 Lost my dog a few months ago and this song made me bawl thinking about him. He was my best friend

In Breathe Nate says "I'd rather be home with my grandparents and playing Euchre" and in Home he says "I'll stop by tomorrow to say hi
We could play cards until midnight" 😥

The only comfort he has being a Christian is they will be reunited in heaven. Hence her new home.

Animals are emotionally intelligent, I love how they just walk in

Lost my mom after Christmas 2 years ago. Didn't know the emotions I was feeling until this song came out. I can't enjoy Christmas anymore which used to be my favorite holiday because of all the things my Mom and I did. The numbness this song peals away is so freeing.

I had a friend that took his own life. I called his phone just to hear his voice on the voicemail for a while after he died. Took a while to take that in and that happened back in '08 and still hurts this day. This song is 100% great IMO. NF nailed it.

Definitely hits hard when his Grandma raised him when he lost his mom to drugs since “Why Did You Leave Us”.

I lost my dad in 2017 and I still call and text him every holiday and birthday. Grief never dies 😢

The melody at the end is also the melody from Trauma.

Been a fan of NF since 2019, then went backwards through his albums and have loved EVERYTHING he has released and this song hit hard... Lost my little sister last year @33 on Halloween and her birthday was also 5 days ago. 😢. #KeepevolvingNF #Growth
