Her Jagged Little Pill album was a freaking monster in the 90s. So many bangers.

Alanis Morissette Uninvited Live. That performance she really gets to show off her truly amazing vocal abilities. I hope you get the chance to see it.

12:54 Aww, I forgot Taylor was in this video. 😢. Taylor Hawkins (rest in peace), her drummer, left this band to go drum for Foo Fighters.

Around the 13 min mark, you pause it to talk about how Alanis expresses a word.  The best part though is you paused it on Taylor Hawkins bigger than the world smile.  You know him as the Foo Fighters drummer who passed away a few years ago - RIP.

"Jagged Little Pill" is such a fantastic album which had at least 5 big hits from it.  Her voice is unique and candid.

I LOVED the “jagged little pill” album! It was a female anthem album!! Hahahahah!! Alanis said all the things OUT LOUD that we all felt at some point but just couldn’t say ourselves!

1971 metalhead... even I have this on vinyl. Even played it for my 21yr old a year ago... sipping tequila... after, he looked at me and said "I can't believe you like this." I replied "you just had to be there." He followed with "this is amazing! I love it." Then put it on his spotify.

I love your humility and outlook on life bp. Another great reaction! It's funny you mention we need to get off social media and go live because yesterday for the first time in 10 years I went golfing and my phone sat in the cart for 4 hours and I never once touched it. It felt great.

This is a wonderful reaction. Thank you so much for being so open and sharing of your thoughts. 👍✌️

Another great song of hers, “Thank You” has a similar vibe and meaning. Totally worth checking out.

Alanis Morissette is one of the very few artists that I actually really liked in the 90's

I’m 52 years old and I’m enjoying life right now as much or more than I have ever. These are the good days right now. Make the most of em while we have em. 😎

Music keeps you young my brotha. I’m seeing 70 coming real fast but I’m still feeling young. Because of music! Life only gets better.

Indeed, the past is a wonderful phantasm (I turn 67 in a week). I learned that it is the moment, and moments in their depth, simply reverting to reverie. It's ALL the moment and how deeply you appreciate it. You have kids - I recall my own mom reflecting that it passes too quickly.   UNLESS you notice, observe, and appreciate.   thanks man

Alanis is one of the most prolific singer/songwriters to come out of her generation. To think she achieved Jagged Little Pill in her early 20’s is simply stupefying to me. I was in my 30’s when it was released and I thought of her as
“That angry girl”…. Watching the evolution of her career and revisiting her catalogue has been a very fulfilling experience for sure ❤

Dude!!!!! I just realized you are a Mandolorian!!!!! Another reason why I know I made the right choice in listening and watching you!

HEAD OVER FEET! ❤️🤘🏻

Alanis' mom was an English teacher, both at a school in Germany AND in Ottawa, so she was legit. That's where the lyrical talent comes from. And being Canadian helps too. It's no surprise that Dolores O'Riordan, lead singer of The Cranberries (also a great band) married a Canadian guy and lived in Canada with her kids for a long time. RIP. Canada is far from perfect, but never mistake our politeness for weakness. Just ask Alanis.

Her live version of "Uninvited" is phenomenal!❤ 🔥

I spent quite some time talking with someone about the way it was in the 60's and 70's just yesterday.  He basically told me that I didn't know what I was talking about.  This guy is young.  I'm in my late 60's.  I was there.  He told me to Google it and I'll find out I'm wrong...  He was so full of his own self importance that he could not stop long enough to realize that I was trying to teach him something.  Something he was unwilling to learn...
