Gamera being the final DLC character just to close the door on any guest characters afterwards would be such a power move, I love it.

You accidentally summoned a remaster.  QUICK!  Do a Suikoden video!!   See if lightning strikes twice!

Sooooooo, this man must have the power to tell the future or something right?

"King Caesar wasn't even the main villain."

... Yeah. One could even say he wasn't a villain at all.

The Zilla bait and switch got me good. Learning the cartoon Zilla Jr would still be included got me again. Then learning  he's in the same batch as Shin got me for a third time.

I can't believe Godzilla made it to the roster

The only downside of not having guest characters is that we can't also have Charles Barkley.

- rush down
- extremely fast
- install super potential
- fire theme

I can't believe Sol Badguy got wings now.

Honestly having Zilla Jr. is such a cool pick. If you want a defense of the 98 film's Godzilla design, then that's the show to go for.

Plus, if you think about it, it's basically Zilla's Showa era. The original dies, so a new version comes around and has regular monster fights against other kaiju with a much lighter tone.

Kiryu ending ,it shows Acane and Kiryu after defeating Ulitma(presumably taking his godlike reality warping powers) and it then cuts to Acane saving her friends(the catalyst for her BECOMING Kyiru’s pilot) and Kyiru stopping the original 1954 godzilla(the soul inside the machine) from going after Seriazowa and the Oxygen Destroyer, and it shows Acane and Kiryu giving each other a look as they fade away(as they stopped themselves from becoming what they are)

As soon as he compared Gigan to Akuma, I imagined Gigan cutting Monster X in half to challenge the player as the new final boss of the arcade ladder.

11:00 Monsterverse Godzilla is the Vegeta of Kaijus Is perhaps the MOST accurate statement I have ever heard in regards to Godzilla. Also the idea that Mothra is Godzilla's wife and the only person he will listen to is hilarious and kind of adorable.

26:15 In the Godzilla IDW comics King Caesar actually has a bit more to pull from. He’s actually stated to have had a rivalry with Megalon that destroyed most of the Earth and I believe he knows Martial Arts so he could be a character with a fairly high skill level and good agility.

That sculpture of The Griffin makes it look like a Monster Hunter monster, a winged feline wyvern.

Watching this video again today for no real reason.

Fun fact, you actually didn't break the rules by including Gamera. In 1970, at the Expo '70 world fair in Osaka, Toho and Daiei actually held a Godzilla and Gamera stage show. We know next to nothing about it besides the fact that it also involved Gorosaurus, Space Gyaos, Jiger, and Minilla, but it did happen! All that's recorded is a five second clip of Goji fighting Gorosaurus

It’s like King of Fighters but it’s King of Monsters

42:10 yeah... That's me, the guy who hasn't watched a single Kaiju movie in his life, was wondering "where's destroyah?"

17:10 to be fair King Kong having a horror movie isn’t too far off

When you said 98 Zilla wasn't going to be in the game I thought "What about the animated series Zilla?"

You did not disappoint, Sir.
