The 14.5 with 77gr triad of 550yds, matches what ive seen in real life during GWOT.

I think 9-Hole Reviews needs to put a ballistic dummy torso out at 1000 yards and let Henry go to work with some Mk262.

I took Adrian’s scoped carbine class and it was so worth it. Understanding “reality vs fun” is very apparent when you leave. Highly recommend

Another 50 years of the m4. Let’s Go!

@turtlehermit8326 14 hours ago

My 357 Henry lever action is a thousand yard gun..if you add up 10 shots

@hateferlife 14 hours ago

M4 with an aimpoint and the right trigger guy can easily make hits to 500m.
The ACOG extends the hit probability slightly.
With how good the parts, glass, ammo(s) are now; that 11.5 doing 550+ is awesome.
We’ve hit the walk of diminishing returns and that’s pretty cool.
Now if you’ll excuse me I’m gonna go burn all my >13.7 barrels.

Well done gentlemen.

For me the "fun" stops at about 500. Without a spotter and using optics that are practical for my use case thats about the max that i can reliably see splash. As a hunter i don't have much desire to push 5.56 past 400 yards, i don't support taking game or even varmints at the edge of reliable performance or where wind drift and bullet time become too large of a factor.

Saw this already on the Patreon; watching again to support you gents. Great stuff here.

Your videos on this topic (and topics adjacent) are what finally got me to acquire my 300 PRC. You should know the wife is holding you accountable for my new $3.50 a round toy

The 77 tmk BMC nas3 ammo ran great in my 20” tikka t3x .223 rem. I got 3004 fps over 35+ shots, sd of 14, es of 38, and it shot sub MOA for 10 shots. Impressive factory ammo

Adrian is a wealth of knowledge.

@DuncanAC42 11 hours ago

Side note, if you use AB Quantum (and probalby a handful of other ballistic apps, it will show you where your setup is expected to go transonic.

6.5 Grendel, Squad, squad, squad!

In the clip with the Geissele HICAR, that’s a stage from September’s Geissele Gas Gun match (or proofing a stage leading up to the match). Anyway, that stage was a blast, looking forward to the finale match this month

Incredible video! Thank you!

In my experience, an accurized 556 scoped carbine is pretty dang effective at getting hits past 700 with good precision ammunition. My silly 14.5 BCM has made a few impacts at 1000 with a PLXc but it’s pretty easy out to 700 even off barricades

@chadwickhodulik2311 12 hours ago

Best GunTuber on YouTube keep up the good work awesome video👍👍

@donh1572 13 hours ago

You should check out the Rokslide hunters using 77gr 5.56. They are taking out Moose and Elk at long distances effectively with 77 grain 5.56. As long as if you keep velocity above 1800 FPS

This video really just confirms that the bigger 6mm bullets or the 6.5 or even 6.8mm bullets are the future. Maybe not the big stupid high pressure 6.8x51 cartridge, but 6.8 SPC or it's improved version the .27 GPC looks so good from an AR15-sized rifle.
