An overdue library book causes a crisis that could wreck Twilight's life. Where have I heard this before?

Dang when he pretended to start calculating I thought Silver Quill was gonna have a Film Theory moment of revalation. One day, we shall know how much a bit is actually worth.

I need more passive-aggressive, honey-voiced Silver Quill in my life. It nourishes my soul

I'm so happy everyone is still creating content. I had worried it would stop eith the show. Thank you for still being here, Silver!

The Quill of Silver is back lol.

This has got to be the weirdest comparison in MLP EVER.

You have to give Nightmare Moon credit, she’s a very forward thinking and brilliant villain. She covers all the bases and possible ways ponies could try and thwart her from destroying the books containing the spells that could have other ponies raise the sun themselves, to constructing a sustainable and livable society.
Makes me wonder what Nightmare Moon could have been as a recurring villain instead of being instantly cured in her first go.

Twilight's picture on her library card is so cute!

In the early 2000s I lost a library book and went to the library sobbing because I was scared they would ban me. They only made me replace it, which took a while because we were on a military base in another country. Turns out my friends thought it would be funny to hide the book in a board game box, one my family didn't play often. I found it 4 years later.

4:09 Actually unless we're talking about a rare or early edition, the library can't charge more than the publishers price.

I've gone through the experience of having overdue library books myself, much like how Twilight has in this episode. While it's not the end of the world, I can understand how it feels to have something like that happen once or twice.

12:36 The only time Teen Titans Go made me chuckle. Laying it on pretty thick there.

11:56 - They also skipped Silver Spoon. I was so disappointed. A scene of Twilight interrupting a conversation between Silver Stream and Silver Spoon might've been a fun sight gag.
