Hulk Hogan on Warrior DVD, WrestleMania VI Finish & Why Warrior “Got Lost” (2010)

Bubba the Love Sponge® Show

On April 12, 2010, Hulk Hogan hosted his own live, uncensored show on Howard 101—broadcast from Bubba the Love Sponge’s studio the same day TNA aired its Reaction pilot. It’s Hogan taking calls and reading emails with no safety net, tackling rumors and revisiting the biggest moments of his career.
What you’ll hear:

The long-standing Macho Man / Stephanie rumor — addressed on air as a rumor
Hogan’s take on the Ultimate Warrior: in-ring challenges, SkyDome finish at WM6
WrestleMania III: tearing his back/shoulder while slamming Andre the Giant
Dream match he wanted most: Hogan vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
Reflections on Chris Kanyon, mental health, and industry pressures
Stories involving Paul Orndorff, Brutus Beefcake, Mr. T
Why he considered supporting roles if he ever returned to movies
TNA 2010 chatter and the buzz around the new Reaction format
This is peak “pull-the-curtain-back” radio—rarely heard in full and a must for WWE/TNA historians.

when we were kids we had guys like hulk telling us to train, say our prayers and eat our vitamins, today they tell kids to cut their genitals off

Uncensored with prescreened calls! 😂 love that they get 2 sec to ask the question and hung up om right after… and Hogan is like “hello?” “Is he still there…?” 🤣

I was born in 1976 and been a Hulkamainac since the early 1980s! Hulk Hogan and Nolan Ryan was my role models and for over 10 years growing up I only wanted to be a pro wrestler or a pro pitcher. I wanted to thank Hogan for being a positive role model for me by saying your prayers, taking vitamins and training hard! One day soon I am hoping to go pump iron on Venice Beach like me hero Hogan did! I just want Hogan to know that he is loved and appreciated for being a great entertainer for so many decades! Hope to see you at Chicago Sports Convention in July!

When I was a kid, I couldn't stand Hulk Hogan. I was a massive Randy Savage fan back then. Now I am older I can look back and appreciate Hogan.

Somewhere out there that kid thinks you were serious about Mr T..lol by the way. Hogan was always way more intimidating than the warrior when he started shaking his head about to explode.. actually I think that's where the warrior got it from was Hogan. Hulks the man.
