When my brother died just before christmas in 2015 i was heartbroken. I reached out to Bret via his website, and it was a tough time. Not long after christmas an email dropped from Bret ... and he talked about how he coped and continued to after what has happened in his life. It meant so much to me ... i still have the email and I cherish it. My brother and I loved Bret, and we loved Austin too. What a time it was. Bret is a class act, in my top 5 of all time, as is Austin. Thankyou to both of you.

I met Bret in person working out in a gym. I was the first guy to recognize him . Said some kind words to him, and he was the most genuine and gracious individual

People who say Bret can't cut a promo are out of their minds. His promos are like his work in the ring: realistic & believable.

Austin fangirling over Bret speaks to how great Bret really was

The number of times Austin mentions how Bret didn't hurt anyone is a testament to how good of a worker Bret was.

You can tell Austin respects Brett by how he acts like a kid in reverence. Respect your elders and appreciate what they have done for you. Nice interview.

I live in Calgary, Bret's hometown . Let me just say The Hart Family is considered royalty here .

Bret was honestly my childhood hero. I'm over 40 and still remember how much i watched him as a young 10 year old.

The mutual respect is beautiful. Steve never gives it easy.

I like how Steve puts a smile on when Bret talks about hitting Vince. He’s glad someone had the balls to hit the boss

In India we were crazy for Hitman in 90s. absolute legend. After he left it was Stone cold for us. We love you Hitman. Stone cold knows you are/were/will be the best in the business

I love the fact that Austin really listens to the person that is on the show with him. He doesn't really interrupt or anything. Austin really respects the person who sits across the table from him.

Stone Cold LOVED the way Brett handled that knocking Vince out and spitting in his face😂

I will never tire of watching their WM13 submission match.

When you hit a certain age, seeing two old friends get together is one of the most heart warming things you'll ever see.

The way Bret subtly complimented Austin throughout his speech was truly remarkable. I hesitate to call anyone uninformed, but it's striking when you consider that Bret has been immersed in wrestling since he was just four years old, both studying and practicing the craft. And then you hear him say things like, "I spoke about you to Vince" and "If I had to choose one match to show someone who’s never watched wrestling, to truly convey what I do for a living, it would be this one." In moments like that, it’s clear that Austin must have felt incredibly honored.

I am still pissed that I’ve lived in Calgary for 20 years and I still haven’t run into Bret Hart.

These guys will never know how much they did for me. They brought so much fun, joy and excitement to a lonely, isolated kid from an angry home. Thank you both for your sacrifices, I hope you know how much you mean to all of us.
